Claire Brialey has been reading science fiction since her father steered her towards the good stuff in the library in the late '70s. She's since done her time as a judge for the Arthur C Clarke Award and administrator of the British Science Fiction Association awards, is teaching on the SF Foundation's 2011 Masterclass, and remains an occasional reviewer. Co-editor of the fanzine Banana Wings since 1996, she also writes for other fanzines, runs conventions when it seems like the right thing to do -- including helping to bid for the Worldcon to come to London in 2014 -- and administers passing fan funds if no one else wants to. She still enjoys reading and watching science fiction.
