Kay Kenyon is the author of ten SF novels. Her latest work is a sci-fantasy quartet. Book One, Bright of the Sky, was one of Publishers Weekly's top books of 2007. It is free on Kindle. The series has twice been shortlisted for the American Library Association Reading List awards. The series concluded in 2010 with Prince of Storms. Other novels include The Braided World, a John W. Campbell finalist, and Maximum Ice, a Philip K. Dick Award finalist. Her works are available in paper, Kindle and Audible.com editions. Her short story "Castoff World," first published in Shine, An Anthology of Optimistic SF, appears this year in Year's Best SF 16, edited by David Hartwell. She is the chair of the Write on the River conference in Wenatchee, WA and blogs on fiction writing at her website, Writing the World.
