Kratom Kratom is a plant of much controversy and debate. A tree indigenous to Southeast Asia that clearly provides beneficial effects, yet it seems that the governments of these areas are doing their best to eradicate. Probably because its existence cuts through their profits and income from the trade of opiate derivatives which is a multibillion dollar business. People have been chewing kratom leaves for years.
