Program - Gaming

Renovation will offer a wide spectrum of games, from board games to card games to role playing games to Live Action Roleplaying (LARP). Whether you want to game for hours on end or just drop by for a quick game, we'll have something for you. Want to play Dominion? We've got that. Race for the Galaxy or Settlers of Catan? Got those. Scrabble? Sure? Munchkin? Yep. You get the idea. We will have hundreds of games available, courtesy of OSFCI and GameStorm, and a dedicated staff to check games out and even teach you how to play. You can see a current list here.

Gaming will run in Hall 2 at the convention center during the hours when the convention center is busy. After we finish up in the convention center, we'll move to the Naples Suite in the Peppermill. Gaming will also be reflected in the program, ranging from gaming-specific items to broader topics such as world-building. If you want to schedule a game to run, or help out with the game library, email

New Orleans, 1928. The storm is building. As the mortal inhabitants of the Big Easy struggle with Prohibition, the supernatural denizens of the region have their own troubles. The rise of new powers and the shifting fortunes of the established players have led to upheaval in the magical community. Many of the local factions have become enmeshed in a bloody web of shifting alliances and temporary cease-fires.

Now, Queen Mab has issued an ultimatum: work out a truce, or face her wrath. Tonight, on the eve of Mardi Gras, a score of the supernatural community's most trusted (read: expendable) diplomats are set to sign a treaty. Can you bring peace to the Paris of the South? Or will the blood of New Orleans turn the Gulf waters red?

This game will feature 20 pre-generated characters. No LARP experience or knowledge of the source material is required, though each tends to enhance player enjoyment. All necessary information and equipment will be provided and costuming is strongly encouraged. Preregistration is recommended, as characters will be cast in order of sign-up. Wait-listed players that are familiar with the source material and able to costume their character may receive priority.

To register or for more information, please email Character packets will be available starting at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday in Naples 1.
