The Real Werewives of Alaska Box Set Vol 1. Books 1-3 by Kristen Strassel Pdf

Join The Real Werewives for this fun and steamy season with the Alaska Bloodhounds and follow the Werewives as they find love with these wild football players. Meet the contestants: Running Wild Hi! I’m Naomi. I’m not in Alaska to meet some furry jock. I became a Real Werewife to find a platform for my travel blog. And it almost worked, too. When running back Sebastian mistakes me for a crew member at the kickoff party, neither of us can deny there’s something more. Much more. But none of my travel could ever prepare me for the adventure with this wolf shifter. Silver Fox Hi! I’m Jenna. Becoming a Real Werewife is my last resort to get the attention of veteran quarterback Landon Fox. I’m not an overzealous fan. I’m the mother of his teenage daughter. Our wild child is about to turn eighteen, and I need his help keeping her under control. But being this close to Landon again has intensified all my old feelings for the fox shifter. This time, is it for real? Catching the Vixen Hi! I’m Fiona. After I crashed an Alaska Bloodhounds bachelor auction, I got offered a contract to become a Real Werewife. But there’s one player I’ve got my eye on. Tyler Jones, the backup quarterback and my dad’s mentee. If that wasn’t enough drama, I’m about to shift for the very first time. Can this sexy lion shifter keep a fox like me safe?

History of Alaska , Volume I by Jonathan M. Nielson, Ph.D. Pdf

As a unique, distant geographical region of the United States, Alaska has evolved from military insignificance to high strategic priority in the 142 years since its purchase from Russia in 1867. The reasons for this dramatic shift derive from a correlation of geography, foreign policy, domestic politics, and military technology. Historically the role of the armed forces in Alaska has been large and diverse. Alaska was one of the two principal territorial purchases made by the United States between 1803 and 1867 adding nearly 1.5 million square miles to America’s national domain. Smaller by the size of Texas than Jefferson’s Louisiana Purchase, Alaska, unlike all of the territories and states carved out of the former, languished in obscurity and isolation, and was administered as a colonial dependency by the military and other branches of the federal government, its official ‘territorial status’ and government notwithstanding. While sharing many common aspects of frontier settlement and Western history with territories such as Montana, the Dakotas, Wyoming, and Colorado, Alaska presented special challenges peculiar to a non-contiguous arctic and sub-Arctic environment, separated from the United States by a foreign power. Indeed, only the defeated South under Reconstruction experienced the same degree of military occupation and martial law. Alaska also has the unique distinction in the American experience of belonging to Imperial Russia before it became of interest to American expansionists. Still others found Alaska tempting and pursued their own designs North of '53. The Spanish, British, Canadians, and even the French plied Alaska’s waters and made their claims to Alyeska- the Great Land. And it is with these clashing imperial ambitions that this three-volume history begins.

Alaska Highway by Kenneth Coates Pdf

Few construction projects of the twentieth century match the building of the Alaska Highway for drama, setting, and engineering challenge. In recognition of the 40th anniversary of this epidsode in Canadian-American cooperation, a symposium was held at Fort St. John, one of several communities that were, and still are, profoundly affected by the building of the road. The papers presented at this interdisciplinary gathering of international scholars of the Canadian and American births illustrate the significance of the highway in such diverse spheres as Canadian-American relations, British Columbia politics, American military history, and the evolution of the northern society.
