Devotion to the Miraculous Infant Jesus of Prague by J M Roberts M a Pdf

Originally published in 1898, this new revised edition contains a history of the devotion, litany, novena, rosary and other traditional prayers to the Infant Jesus of Prague, and accounts of many miracles and prayers answered through this devotion. This devotion germinated in 17th century Europe and spread rapidly. It was little known in the U. S. prior to 1894 when the first English translation of a book explaining the devotion was published. The popularity of the books increased tremendously and miracles and favors granted by the Divine Infant to Americans have been abundant as they have been to Europeans. This book inspires a deeper love of Jesus Christ through the consideration of His Holy infancy. It provides hope in times of need. As a child loves it's mother, the merciful Infant Jesus loves us all and stands ready to assist all who call upon Him from their hearts: Of the Infant Jesus it has been said that "No colic is so painful, no fever so violent, no malady so dangerous, no peril so great, no tumor so malignant, no insanity so raving, no complaint so irritating, no assault of Satan so furious, no pestilence so infectious, no swelling so serious, as not to be dispelled or cured by this Blessed Child. The Holy Infant puts an end to enmities, frees prisoners, saves those who are condemned to death, brings obstinate sinners to repentance, and blesses childless parents with offspring. In short He is become all to all." (Imprimatur from the Archbishop of New York, Michael Augustine, and Nihil Obstat from the Censor Librorum, Thomas L. Kinkead).

The Miraculous Infant by Jose Rodriguez Sanjuan, MD Pdf

My life was forever changed on June 14, 1985. I was finishing my third year of medical school that summer and expecting my firstborn child in a few weeks. My idealistic world was shattered abruptly that day, and it led directly to experiencing a miracle firsthand. It has become my mission to relate this miraculous, divine intervention to as many people as possible, and that is the basis for writing this book. It has taken me years to write about this most painful time in my life as well as the most glorious. It is still painful to even read what I have recounted here for you. I hope that I can bring some sense of peace and understanding to people who are suffering from a lack of reasoning or explanation for what they may be going through in their own lives. My son, Nicholas, was born unexpectedly that summer morning without any signs of life. He endured an extended cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the operating room and a prolonged intensive care unit (ICU) hospital course in a deep coma, with full life support on 100 percent oxygen. This true story is the description of a miracle that led to his complete and sudden recovery, with no signs of brain injury or other adverse sequela. I am in a unique position to evaluate the events surrounding this miracle because of my medical background. The purpose of this book is to bring the message of Divine love and intervention to those most in need of understanding. The devotion to the Miraculous Infant Jesus of Prague has been around since the seventeenth century and will continue until the end of time. It should be no surprise that this icon of regal divinity should be found in most of our Catholic churches throughout the world, centuries after the devotion first began.

Pocket Guide to the Rosary by Matt Fradd Pdf

A Pocket Guide to the Rosary helps Catholics deepen their prayer life and improve their ability to pray what St. Padre Pio called the weapon of our times. The Rosary. Drawing from the writings of the saints, the Bible, and Catholic tradition, Matt Fradd has produced a book that every Catholic should read. Its small size makes it easy to carry to adoration, keep around for family Rosary night, or hand out at your parish. Catholics who find it difficult to enter into the mysteries of the Rosary, or who need some encouragement and inspiration to pray this essential Catholic prayer, will deeply appreciate this small but powerful book. In this essential book, Matt Fradd explains: ● How to truly meditate on the mysteries on the Rosary. ● Major saints methods to pray the Rosary. Carefully chosen biblical passages to reflect on for each mystery. Here's how it works: 1. Overview of each mystery, with biblical quotes to help you establish context and focus your mind 2. Insight on each mystery from the writings of the saints and Church Fathers 3. Personal applications for each mystery, so you can further apply these mysteries to your own life and invite God to be a part of it
