They all came here to be free, find a job and become an American citizen. They were happy to be in a free country. They were resourceful and got along with everyone. I lived in a Jewish, Italian neighborhood. We had no problems. Everyone got along. We had a good life in spite of our hardships.

In May 2004, I began a morning ritual of sending out devotionals. The devotionals were sent via electronic mail as a source of encouragement, inspiration, correction, hope and admonishment.
