Hyper-Heuristics: Theory and Applications by Nelishia Pillay,Rong Qu Pdf

This introduction to the field of hyper-heuristics presents the required foundations and tools and illustrates some of their applications. The authors organized the 13 chapters into three parts. The first, hyper-heuristic fundamentals and theory, provides an overview of selection constructive, selection perturbative, generation constructive and generation perturbative hyper-heuristics, and then a formal definition of hyper-heuristics. The chapters in the second part of the book examine applications of hyper-heuristics in vehicle routing, nurse rostering, packing and examination timetabling. The third part of the book presents advanced topics and then a summary of the field and future research directions. Finally the appendices offer details of the HyFlex framework and the EvoHyp toolkit, and then the definition, problem model and constraints for the most tested combinatorial optimization problems. The book will be of value to graduate students, researchers, and practitioners.

(Fuzzy and neutrosophic) soft hyper BCK-ideals by Somayeh KHADEMAN Pdf

We have given examples and theorems to examine the relations between them and their relations with fuzzy soft (weak, strong) hyper BCK-ideals. Then, we have introduced the notions of neutrosophic (strong, weak, s-weak) hyper BCK-ideal, reflexive neutrosophic hyper BCK-ideal and neutrosophic commutative hyper BCK-ideal and indicated some relevant properties and their relations. Finally, we introduce the notions of neutrosophic soft (weak, strong) hyper BCK-ideal and (weak, strong) neutrosophic soft hyper p-ideal and have got some results on them.

Extended BCK-Ideal Based On Single-Valued Neutrosophic Hyper BCK-Ideals by Mohammad Hamidi Pdf

This paper introduces the concept of single-valued neutrosophic hyper BCK-subalgebras as a generalization and alternative of hyper BCK-algebras and on any given nonempty set constructs at least one single-valued neutrosophic hyper BCK-subalgebra and one a single-valued neutrosophic hyper BCK-ideal. In this study level subsets play the main role in the connection between single-valued bneutrosophic hyper BCK-subalgebras and hyper BCK-subalgebras and the connection between single-valued neutrosophic hyper BCK-ideals and hyper BCK-ideals. The congruence and (strongly) regular equivalence relations are the important tools for connecting hyperstructures and structures, so the major contribution of this study is to apply and introduce a (strongly) regular relation on hyper BCK-algebras and to investigate their categorical properties (quasi commutative diagram) via single-valued neutrosophic hyper BCK-ideals.

IBM XIV Storage System: IBM Hyper-Scale Mobility Overview and Usage by Bertrand Dufrasne,Christian Burns,Guenter Rebmann,Hank Sautter,Jim Sedgwick,IBM Redbooks Pdf

IBM® Hyper-Scale introduces two major new technologies, both implemented in the IBM XIV® Storage System (Gen3 models): The first is IBM Hyper-Scale Manager, a flexible, consolidated multi-system management application that was originally released in October 2012 as "Multi-System Manager". IBM Hyper-Scale Manager is based on and seamlessly integrated with the XIV GUI and spans multiple XIV systems. The second new technology, IBM Hyper-Scale Mobility, is the topic of this publication. It is a powerful function for moving volumes between storage containers transparently, with no disruption to host applications. IBM Hyper-Scale helps you easily overcome provisioning scenarios that normally challenge traditional systems. IBM Hyper-Scale can accommodate several critical customer scenarios for data mobility, load balancing, over-provisioning, and storage system repurposing. This IBM RedpaperTM publication provides a broad understanding of the IBM Hyper-Scale Mobility feature. The paper describes the IBM Hyper-Scale architecture and includes detailed step by step scenarios that illustrate the online volume migration process, both from the XIV GUI and the XIV Command-Line Interface (XCLI). This publication is intended for XIV customers and users who want a practical understanding of IBM Hyper-Scale Mobility concepts and usage.

Thermostructural Analysis of Unconventional Wing Structures of a Hyper-X Hypersonic Flight Research Vehicle for the Mach 7 Mission by William L. Ko Pdf

Heat transfer, thermal stresses, and thermal buckling analyses were performed on the unconventional wing structures of a Hyper-X hypersonic flight research vehicle (designated as X-43) subject to nominal Mach 7 aerodynamic heating. A wing midspan cross was selected for the the heat transfer and thermal stress analyses. Thermal buckling analysis was performed on three regions of the wing skin (lower or upper); 1) a fore wing panel, 2) an aft wing panel, and 3) a unit panel at the middle of the aft wing panel. A fourth thermal buckling analysis was performed on a midspan wing segment. The unit panel region is identified as the potential thermal buckling initiation zone. Therefore, thermal buckling analysis of the Hyper-X wing panels could be reduced to the thermal buckling analysis of that unit panel. "Buckling temperature magnification factors" were established. Structural temperature-time histories are presented. The results show that the concerns of shear failure at wing and spar welded sites.
