Why Israel Can't Wait by Jerome R. Corsi Pdf

The new Israeli government headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly declared that a primary foreign policy objective is to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons capability. Israel is a "one-bomb state," such that one atomic weapon, even a relatively low-yield bomb of the type the United States dropped on Hiroshima or Nagasaki in World War II, would destroy the modern Jewish state as we know it today. The Obama administration has repeatedly declared the intention of following up on the campaign promise to negotiate directly with Iran. This represents a fundamental policy shift from the Bush administration's efforts to apply international sanctions through the United Nations in an effort to force Iran to quit enriching uranium. Consistently, Iran has insisted upon the nation's right as a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty to pursue the "full fuel cycle," code words for Iran's determination to advance uranium enrichment technology in Iran under Iranian control. In recent months, top Iranian government and military figures have issued warnings that the time is getting short, such that Iran might well have the capability to develop and deliver at least one nuclear weapon by the end of 2009 or the beginning of 2010. At the same time, the international community has expressed doubt that the Iranian government will make any serious concessions on their atomic program. In press conferences and speeches, President Obama has openly acknowledged the U.S. government now believes Iran is pursing a nuclear weapons program. At the end of the Bush administration, the international press credibly reported that the Olmert government in Israel was denied fly-over rights in Iran in order to launch a military strike on Iran. Known as the "Sampson Option," an Israeli first-strike on Iran's nuclear facilities becomes increasingly likely to the extent Israel feels isolated from the world community and concludes there is no chance the Obama administration will ever be able to induce Iran to stop enriching uranium, regardless how seriously the president intends to push direct negotiations as a strategy. We have already seen two wars launched by Israel against terrorist surrogates financed and supported by Iran: the 2006 war against Hezbollah in Lebanon and the 2008 war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Now, a war between Israel and Iran is on the near horizon, possibly fated to occur before the end of 2009.

The Shroud Codex by Jerome R. Corsi Pdf

After a New Jersey priest has a near-death experience he begins to resemble the image depicted on the Shroud of Turin, prompting a skeptical Vatican representative to investigate the claim and subsequently question the assumptions he has held for so long. THE PRIEST… Brought back to life on an operating room table, Father Paul Bartholomew is haunted by visions of Christ as Golgotha. Then, as he celebrates Mass, blood starts running down his arms. The horrified congregation watches him collapse, his vestments soaked in the blood pouring from wounds on his wrists. Mysteriously, he now resembles in almost every physical aspect the Christ-like figure represented on the Shroud of Turin. THE SKEPTICS… Worried lest Bartholomew’s case be proved a hoax, the Vatican employs two prominent scientists to investigate. Dr. Stephen Castle, an American psychiatrist, is renowned for his book arguing that religion is a figment of human imagination. Professor Marco Gabrielli, an Italian religious researcher and chemist, has made a career of debunking supposed miracles, of explaining the unexplainable. THE MIRACLE… For centuries, the Shroud of Turin has defied science. Is this ancient remnant truly Christ’s burial cloth, or the biggest fraud ever perpetrated? When the priest’s uncanny resemblance to the picture on the Shroud prompts Castle and Gabrielli to investigate the artifact itself, each is finally forced to face mysteries reason alone cannot explain—in a journey of discovery that plumbs the farthest reaches of science and the human spirit.

The Late Great State of Israel by Aaron Klein Pdf

In The Late Great State of Israel, Aaron Klein, author of the critically acclaimed Schmoozing with Terrorists, draws upon years of experience living and working as a journalist based in Israel. His book is an urgent, clarion call to supporters of Israel around the world: The great Mideast democracy faces catastrophe. Klein shows how Israel is often its own worst enemy, and how Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and a variety of Palestinian terrorists threaten to end the Zionist dream once and for all. He also exposes the important role that America and the news media have played in putting the Jewish nation in such a dangerous position.Israel is in the fight of its life, facing perils from inside and outside its borders. Unless these perils are countered soon, warns Klein, the only remnant of the Jewish nation may be an epitaph: The Late Great State of Israel.

Showdown with Iran by Mark Hitchcock Pdf

The Threat of War with Iran Grows Day by Day Bible prophecy expert Mark Hitchcock, PhD, is noticing a dangerous trend: the nation of Iran remains in the newspaper headlines for all the wrong reasons. In Showdown with Iran, he reveals why this rogue nation is so dangerous and how that connects to what the Bible says about what’s to come while encouraging readers to remain alert, aware, and hopeful as the end times near. He tackles questions such as: Does Iran still plan to wipe Israel off the map? What does this mean for the future of the Middle East? Where does Iran stand in Bible prophecy? What will be the role of the United States in Bible prophecy? The warning of what will happen is not new. In the book of Ezekiel, the Bible records a multitude of predictions about the region then known as Persia as well as about the nation of Israel. These ancient prophecies foretell an end-time rise of Iran, as well as Russia and Turkey. But are the prophecies still unfulfilled today? Hitchcock is convinced Iran continues to play a central role in bringing about chaos in the Middle East. In Showdown with Iran, he explores the continued validity and accuracy of end-time prophecy and answers questions that will become increasingly relevant as the end times draw near.

The Last Great War of Antiquity by James Howard-Johnston Pdf

The last great war of antiquity was fought on an unprecedented scale along the full length of the Persian-Roman frontier. James Howard-Johnston pieces together the fragmentary evidence of this period to form, for the first time, a coherent story of the dramatic events, key players, and vast lands over which the conflict spread.
