The Shadow MInd (A Supernatural Mystery) by S.H. Livernois Pdf

The dark side of the soul is a terrifying place. "I'm about to be murdered!" With this message, an intruder wakes up Lizeth Frontenac in the middle of the night. He gives her his name, his address, and begs for her help, then vanishes into thin air before she can do anything. Lizeth doubts her own eyes. Was the man just a dream? A hallucination? In the morning she learns he was neither, for a body is found a state away, in the same town, on the same road. And he wasn't the only one. On the same night, under the same full moon, all across the country, eleven other people are also killed. When a victim's distraught boyfriend seeks out Lizeth and her sister Hyla for help, they are plunged into a mystery so intricate, tracking murders so perplexing and numerous as to boggle the mind. Is it a ritual? A cult? One killer or a dozen? The answer keeps slipping through their fingers. And one of their own might be next.

Astrology of the Shadow Self by Maja D'Aoust Pdf

• Explains how to determine your shadow planets and zodiac signs through the oppositions of your birth chart • Details the meaning and challenges of each shadow counterpart for every astrological sign and planet that appears in a traditional astrological chart • Looks at the alchemical nature of the dark side of the human mind and shadow-work methods for bringing the oppositional self into personal awareness Recently rediscovered by modern psychology, the shadow self was recognized in ancient teachings as an inseparable part of the human being, a vital portion of who we are. The ancient Egyptians regarded working with the shadow as a necessary part of spiritual growth, and shadow work practices are alluded to in the oldest writings. In this practical guide to shadow astrology, Maja D’Aoust explains how to determine the shadow polarities of your natal chart and explore the hidden wisdom and challenges of the oppositional identity within. She shows how finding your shadow planets is easy—they are the opposite sign of the planets in your birth chart. For example, someone with the sun in Libra will have their shadow sun in Aries. She explains how, just like the traditional planets of astrology, each shadow planet governs a specific area of human activity: Venus shadows speak of tainted love, while Mercury shadows reveal challenges of the mind. Each of these shadow planets presents a specific type of negative challenge that emerges when opposition arises. Providing vivid examples, the author details the meaning of each shadow counterpart for every astrological sign and planet that appears in a traditional astrological chart and explains how to interpret and work with their challenges. In addition to chart interpretation, the author also explores the history of this astrological method, including its roots in ancient Egypt, ancient Greece, and the Western magic tradition. She looks at the alchemical nature and subconscious influences of the dark side of the human mind and the shadow-work methods necessary for bringing the oppositional self into personal awareness. Revealing how to interpret astrological charts for personal growth and conscious evolution, this guide invites you to explore the darkness within in order to know the totality of your whole self.

The Shadow of the Tsunami by Philip M. Bromberg Pdf

During early development, every human being is exposed to the relative impact of relational trauma – disconfirmation of aspects of oneself as having legitimate existence in the world of others – in shaping both the capacity for spontaneous human relatedness and the relative vulnerability to "adult-onset trauma." To one degree or another, a wave of dysregulated affect – a dissociated "tsunami" – hits the immature mind, and if left relationally unprocessed leaves a fearful shadow that weakens future ability to regulate affect in an interpersonal context and reduces the capacity to trust, sometimes even experience, authentic human discourse. In his fascinating third book, Philip Bromberg deepens his inquiry into the nature of what is therapeutic about the therapeutic relationship: its capacity to move the psychoanalytic process along a path that, bit by bit, shrinks a patient's vulnerability to the pursuing shadow of affective destabilization while simultaneously increasing intersubjectivity. What takes places along this path does not happen because "this" led to "that," but because the path is its own destination – a joint achievement that underlies what is termed in the subtitle "the growth of the relational mind." Expanding the self-state perspective of Standing in the Spaces (1998) and Awakening the Dreamer (2006), Bromberg explores what he holds to be the two nonlinear but interlocking rewards of successful treatment – healing and growth. The psychoanalytic relationship is illuminated not as a medium for treating an illness but as an opportunity for two human beings to live together in the affectively enacted shadow of the past, allowing it to be cognitively symbolized by new cocreated experience that is processed by thought and language – freeing the patient's natural capacity to feel trust and joy as part of an enduring regulatory stability that permits life to be lived with creativity, love, interpersonal spontaneity, and a greater sense of meaning.

Excelsis Dei by Paul Linke Pdf

The content of this book is about Religion and Physics put into perspective (and Scientology is the ideal word for that conception). Where both deal with the magic of nature, but magic is not tolerated. The triangle in this picture is a sacred symbol about this hidden magic, where strings of energy not only create the triangle, but they are the thriving force behind the unfolding universe of space and time. And all this is possible because the conscious mind depicted as the all seeing-eye (the eye of God) in the heart controls this eternal force.

Doc Shadow by Jacqueline Stewart Pdf

The unknown supernaturally has made their presence known among us proving that medically there's no cure for self-defeating mental illnesses. Doctors are taught medically how to cure, treat and heal through medicine humanly, but not when it involves Demons existing psychologically. A well-known doctor by the name of Dr. Allen with a great reputation was faced with conquering his own shadow that was Demon possessed, and haunted him. His shadow killed many leaving the evidence that lead only to Dr. Allen because witnesses saw the reflection of Dr. Allen in action. In order for him to prove his innocence, he had to allow this Demon possessed shadow to enter on the inside of him mentally so that he can control its mind; but being as it was his own shadow, made it difficult because shadows are the reflection of one's body. It became a challenge proving his innocence because it had never been heard of shadows separating and transforming into an un-humanized demon staggering alone.

From Within The Shadow by Jo Elliott Pdf

I started a different walk in life in 2007. I have always jotted down ditties from time to time; the ones in this book came about with a massive change within my life. It appeared sometimes as if I had no control over the flow of words. The first sentence would come through and that would be that until the poem was finished, regardless of the length. I started taking a notebook and pen with me everywhere I went, so I could write if I needed to. The last one of the book 'Now' marks the end of an era. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
