What the Kingdom Is to the Believers by Witness Lee Pdf

A careful reading of the New Testament from the first book to the last will reveal not even a single verse that says that the goal of the gospel is for people to go to heaven. Rather, almost every book in the New Testament speaks of the kingdom of God and says clearly that the central goal of the gospel is the kingdom of God. God's intention with the gospel is not to save people into heaven but to save them into the kingdom, that is, into the kingdom of the heavens. The gospel is not a matter of a heavenly mansion but a matter of the kingdom.

The Kingdom of God Suffers Violence! by John Elliott Williams Pdf

The apostle Matthew recorded the words of Jesus in chapter eleven when Jesus said, "The kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent take it by force!" The revelation of this Scripture is the quintessential order experienced by God's elect as they seek God's Kingdom and His righteousness. This order supports the life experiences of humans on the earth as spoken in God's curse as the results of man's disobedience in the Garden of Eden. Not many Christians understand this order or the spiritual provisions God established in His plan for the world before it was formed. Jesus used the life of John the Baptist to illustrate the character one must have in seeking God's Kingdom. John, who by faith and blind devotion, surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and to God's Kingdom. Jesus said in verse eleven, "Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist. John's adult life was characterized by his tenacity to advance the knowledge of Jesus Christ despite the antagonism from Jesus enemies, the religious leaders of His day, the scribes and the Pharisees. John the Baptist was a man filled with love, faith and obedience to Jesus and to God's Word! He was a role model to those of us who seek the Kingdom of God despite the afflictions, hardships and sufferings one must bear! Taking the Kingdom by force refers to those who make a concerted effort to enter the kingdom in spite of violent opposition. This opposition comes in many forms including our carnal mind, which is enmity against God and the lust of our own human flesh. Individuals seeking the Kingdom must display certain character traits as revealed in this book, "The Kingdom of God Suffers Violence!" Unfortunately, not many Christian leaders have been privy to this revelation or its purpose in those God predestinated, called, justified and glorified before the world was made. However, in the fullness of time, these truths are being made known. As you read this book, please seek God's wisdom and understanding in order to rightly discern its contents.

Easton's Bible Dictionary by M. G. Easton Pdf

Easton's Bible Dictionary is a classic book of definitions which serves to explain and clarify the meaning of the names, places, and words found in the Bible. Many Christians and scholars who read the Bible often remain unawares of the meanings or significance of the Holy Book's vocabulary. Such words are often derived from Ancient Hebrew or other old scripts, which makes it even more difficult for readers who only speak English to understand. Location names, in the context of ancient geography, are likewise hard to scrutinize - yet Easton's Dictionary not only explains what these places are, but their size and overall impact across the entire Bible. First published in 1893, this dictionary uses the authoritative King James Bible as its source. As well as containing definitions and accounts of the many terms found throughout the Old and New Testaments, Easton's Bible Dictionary points out the significance of certain things and exactly where mentions of such phenomena appear in the Bible. The presence and significance of iron, for example, is noted in the Books of Genesis, Chronicles, Ezekiel, Deuteronomy, Isaiah, Job, Joshua, Kings and in the Psalms. Individuals in the Bible are also given biographical definitions. Through Easton's referencing of the names, we can discover the exact Bible passages where such figures are mentioned. Likewise we hear of terms relevant to the life of the ancient peoples; the term 'Levy' for instance is shown to equate to a form of involuntary recruitment which kings ordered. Words in frequent use today, such as 'Schism', are also shown to originate from the Bible. Other words we use today - such as 'Teeth', are shown to have been informal terms: 'cleanness of teeth' in Amos 4:6 denotes an outbreak of famine, for example. Many of the parables and tales of the Bible are retold in abbreviated form in Easton's Bible Dictionary. These retold anecdotes reference other relevant passages, further evidencing how the various portions of the Bible are interconnected and related to one another. Such a style also gives this unconventional dictionary a flowing quality, making it easier for the reader to enjoy large tracts of this text without pause. The ancient world of the Biblical canon is given life and color by Easton's descriptions. Primarily however, Easton's masterwork is designed for reference. Yet it not only defines the individual entries, but places these entries in their proper context throughout both the Old and New Testaments. Owing to this wealth of information, the reader may perceive that Easton's Dictionary is not merely a book of definitions, but an authoritative and significant work of classic Christian literature.

Kingdom Reformation by Jim Lacy Pdf

The kingdom of heaven is meant to override and push back corrupted kingdoms of this present world. It is eternal, tangible, and relevant today. Jesus Christ spoke about the kingdom’s present reality and the world-changing dynamics associated with it. Faith-filled members of the redeemed community will occupy influential establishments and professions. Many Christians are accepting the assignment of stepping into many persuasive institutions such as government, retail sales, construction, education, media, the arts and entertainment, and family to make a difference. They are applying God’s love, biblical values, and their lifestyles to reform these arenas and to create atmospheres in which unbelievers are transformed into committed followers of Christ. Are Christian people supposed to “get along” with established practices, business as usual procedures, even if they oppose biblical ethics and practices? What if you are a “game-changer” in the mixed-up culture of our day—a Christian who boldly chooses to enter a conflicted or compromised arena of influence. Could you be the committed disciple of Jesus who will look squarely in the face of ungodly and chaotic conditions that oppose biblical ideals to deliver transformation? What if you, being armed with the armor, love, and the power of God, were to break into an established arena, an institution, a career, or profession with a better way—God’s way of doing business? Could it be that you are a reformer in the world? Is it possible you are a converter in a crazy culture that needs Jesus Christ and his biblical agenda? As we study the reality and significance of God’s kingdom, I hope you will capture its implications and relevance personally. If you do, your life in Christ will be more expressive and exciting, your purpose clearer, and our collective mission more accurately fulfilled.

The Acceptable Kingdom Service by Kunle Prosper Pdf

Have you ever desired to know what the acceptable kingdom service could be?Do you want to know the main reason why God called you out of the world into his kingdom? Then, you've just found the right book to answer your questions. The truth is that kingdom service has been one of the most grossly misunderstood subjects among Christians. It is disheartening to know that many thought been present in church services or congregational meetings amount to a great service to God.The believers' world has suddenly lost touch of the Great Commission delivered to the church by Jesus Christ our Lord. We have instead made ourselves busy pursuing frivolities and unprofitable things.God's earnest desire is that his will be done on the earth as it is done in heaven. As Believers therefore, we are expected to be partners with him in getting this desires accomplished. How on earth are we supposed to do this? This is the major focus of this very book in your hand. The Acceptable Kingdom Service among other things established the fact that believers are not sent to the church but to the world. It clearly made every believer to know what is required from us to serve God acceptably. It also answers many questions you have ever been willing to find answers to. Such questions as why God doesn't show up and get rid of evils happening around the world?Must believers wait to be filled with power before he can take up his heavenly assigned task? What actually is the acceptable kingdom service? And what is the original intent of God for the creation of man? This book also revealed what the bible described as the secret place of the Most High God.I am confident in the Holy Spirit that there is no believer who will read this book and wouldn't receive understanding necessary to fulfill the purpose of God for his life.Welcome to the discovery of the hidden mysteries you've ever been longing to discover.Welcome to your hour of recovery and total liberty.Jesus is Lord
