Hindfistz'ani, there fore, \is strictly the language of that province. Though at present widely diffused through the whole peninsula, and indeed the general medium of communication between all Musalmz'an, and the Sipahis of every caste in the armies of Bengal and Bombay, as well as at the seats of Government, it 'is nevertheless spoken with the greatest purity at Delhi, where it arose.
