The Urban Design Legacy of Colin Rowe describes the ideas developed and described primarily by Colin Rowe, professor of architecture and head of the Urban Design Studio at Cornell, and additionally by his students, his co-authors, and colleagues throughout the course of the last half of his highly influential career spanning the years 1963 till his death in 1999. Colin Rowe is acknowledged to be the most influential figure in architectural theory in the last half of the 20th century.
