A Neutrosophic Enhanced Best-Worst Method for Considering Decision-Makers’ Confidence in the Best and Worst Criteria by Amin Vafadarnikjoo,Madjid Tavana,Tiago Botelho,Konstantinos Chalvatzis Pdf

The best-worst method (BWM) is a multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) method for evaluating a set of alternatives based on a set of decision criteria where two vectors of pairwise comparisons are used to calculate the importance weight of decision criteria. The BWM is an efficient and mathematically sound method used to solve a wide range of MCDM problems by reducing the number of pairwise comparisons and identifying the inconsistencies derived from the comparison process.

A Neutrosophic Enhanced Best-Worst Method for Considering Decision-Makers’ Confidence in the Best and Worst Criteria by Amin Vafadarnikjoo,Madjid Tavana, Tiago Botelho, Konstantinos Chalvatzis Pdf

In spite of its simplicity and efficiency, the BWM does not consider the decision-makers’ (DMs’) confidence about their pairwise comparisons. We propose a neutrosophic enhancement to the original BWM by introducing two new parameters as the DMs’ confidence in the best-to-others preferences and the DMs’ confidence in the others-to-worst preferences. We present two real-world cases to illustrate the applicability of the proposed neutrosophic enhanced BWM (NE-BWM) by considering confidence rating levels of the DMs.

A Hybrid Neutrosophic-Grey Analytic Hierarchy Process Method: Decision-Making Modelling in Uncertain Environments by Amin Vafadarnikjoo, Marco Scherz Pdf

The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is recognised as one of the most commonly applied methods in the multiple attribute decision-making (MADM) literature. In the AHP, encompassing uncertainty feature necessitates using suitable uncertainty theories, since dealing efficiently with uncertainty in subjective judgements is of great importance in real-world decision-making problems. The neutrosophic set (NS) theory and grey systems are two reliable uncertainty theories which can bring considerable benefits to uncertain decision-making. Thea im of this study is to improve uncertain decision-making by incorporating advantages of the NS and grey systems theories with the AHP in investigating sustainability through agility readiness evaluation in large manufacturing plants.

Personnel selection is a critical obstacle that influences the success of the enterprise. The complexity of personnel selection is to determine effciently the proper applicantion to fulffll enterprise requirements. The decision makers do their best to match enterprise requirements with the most suitable applicant. Unfortunately, the numerous criterions, alternatives, and goals make the process of choosing among several applicants is very complex and confusing to decision making. The environment of decision making is a multi-criteria decision making surrounded by inconsistency and uncertainty. This paper contributes to support personnel selection process by integrating neutrosophic analytical hierarchy process (AHP) with the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS) to illustrate an ideal solution amongst different alternatives. A case study on smart village Cairo Egypt is developed based on decision maker's judgments recommendations. The proposed study applies neutrosophic AHP and TOPSIS to enhance the traditional methods of personnel selection to achieve the ideal solutions. By reaching the ideal solutions, the smart village will enhance the resource management for attaining the goals to be a successful enterprise. The proposed method demonstrates a great impact on the personnel selection process rather than the traditional decision-making methods.

An extended multiple criteria decision making method based on neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy information by Peide Liu ,Lili Zhang Pdf

Neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set is the generalization of neutrosophic set and the hesitant fuzzy set, which can easily express the uncertain, incomplete and inconsistent information in cognitive activity, and the VIKOR (from Serbian:VIseKriterijumska Optimizacija I Kompromisno Resenje) method is an effective decision making tool which can select the optimal alternative by the maximum ‘‘group utility’’ and minimum of an ‘‘individual regret’’ with cognitive computation.

A Bipolar Neutrosophic Multi Criteria Decision Making Framework for Professional Selection by Mohamed Abdel-Basset,Abduallah Gamal,Le Hoang Son,Florentin Smarandache Pdf

In this paper, we propose a new hybrid neutrosophic multi criteria decision making (MCDM) framework that employs a collection of neutrosophic analytical network process (ANP), and order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) under bipolar neutrosophic numbers. The MCDM framework is applied for chief executive officer (CEO) selection in a case study at the Elsewedy Electric Group, Egypt. The proposed approach allows us to assemble individual evaluations of the decision makers and therefore perform accurate personnel selection. The outcomes of the proposed method are compared with those of the related works such as weight sum model (WSM), weight product model (WPM), analytical hierarchy process (AHP), multi-objective optimization based on simple ratio analysis (MOORA) and ANP methods to prove and validate the results.

Group Multi-Attribute Decision Making Based on Interval Neutrosophic Sets by Amir Hossein NAFEI ,Wenjun YUAN1, Hadi NASSERI Pdf

This paper presents a new method for group multi-attribute decision-making (GMADM) based on interval neutrosophic sets, where decision makers determine the weights and the evaluating values of the attributes with respect to the available alternatives by using interval neutrosophic values. In comparison with other existing methods involving group multi-attribute decision making, that only consider crisp or incomplete information, the proposed method, based on interval neutrosophic sets, can handle not only incomplete information but also indeterminate and inconsistent information which is common in real-world situations. Therefore, the method presented in this paper can be more effective and efficient than other decision-making methods.
