The stories of our Bohra customs and food are many, and each one of us has our own. These innumerable and unique customs, which oftenrevolve around food, are an expression of our culture. They are also a way of life for me and many others in the community, and have helped shape our identities as Bohras. This book is an attempt to not only compile the recipes of some of our very unique cuisine, but also to describe aspects of the Bohra community, customs, and culture around these delectable dishes.Our intention is to use the proceeds from this book to benefit charities that work towards the education of Bohra children, especially in parts of the world where there is an urgent need.
