The Committee may call upon any of the agencies of the Government con cerned with Alaskan affairs for data, information, or other aid. The report Should include as much of a national defense program for the Territory as the War and Navy Departments may determine to be in the public interest. The Committee Should prepare to submit to me at least the preliminary draft of the report not later than January 1, 1938.
