Ascension Journey and Crossover by Judith Marie McLean Ph D Pdf

Ascension Journey and Crossover, A Handbook for Healing Towards Ascension is a continued record of a path I never dreamed I would be following. My life changed dramatically at age thirty with a spontaneous kundalini experience and I was led into a cosmos of many dimensions. My night hours became times of navigating different realms to perform healing for others in etheric planes. World traveling took me to sites of trauma that needed clearing and realignment. As I have worked on healing myself, clients, the earth, souls, and spirit beings, my energy vibration has become "quickened" and I now work with ascension energy which the book describes. My path is unique due to my own background, upbringing, philosophy, and experiences. As I have learned to evolve spiritually, I hope that I can also help others learn discernment in their pursuit of spiritual evolution. May the purpose of the search be for service rather than power or curiosity, and hopefully the quest will also be on of balance and harmony. From my experiences I have written a handbook that will help teach the reader to journey and evolve towards ascension and use wisdom do differentiate between intuition and psychism, and truth and illusion. Specific tools and exercises are included to lead the reader through systematic ways to mature spiritually. With the intent of teaching and passing on what I have learned, I offer, Ascension Journey and Crossover, A Handbook for Healing Towards Ascension.

The Prophet's Ascension by Christiane J. Gruber,Frederick S. Colby Pdf

The tales of the mi'raj describe the prophet Muhammad's journey through the heavens, his encounters with prophets and angels, and his visit to heaven and hell. The tales are among Islam's most popular, appearing in Arabic, Persian, and Turkish literature, and in later adaptations throughout the Muslim world. Often serving as narratives designed to promote the worldview of particular Muslim groups, the tales were also a means for communities to construct rules of normative behavior and ritual practices, and were used to assert the superiority of Islam over other religions. The essays in this collection discuss the formation of this narrative, the mi'raj as a missionary text, its various adaptations, its application to esoteric thought, and its use in performance and ritual. -- Book jacket.

Modern Ascension by Carol Anne Halstead Pdf

Thirteen people—of different ages, from different parts of the world, with different backgrounds, pursuing different careers, on different life paths—all experienced an inner knowing that led to the Alpha Imaging website, which finally elucidated what they were each being called upon to do—to Ascend. Through the guidance of the Ascended Masters, Angels, Cosmic Beings, gurus, shamans, and the keepers of the Ascended Masters portal in New Zealand, their Ascension journeys have rapidly evolved in a modern world, allowing each of them to systematically clear their karma; leave the cycle of rebirth in a single lifetime; and connect with their Higher Selves in service to all of humanity and the entire planet. Here are their stories, recorded in their own authentic words. Have you ever questioned whether there was more to mundane life than meets the eye? Whether there was a proven path to enlightenment, unity, heightened consciousness, higher purpose, Higher Self? These thirteen high initiates demystify this path by presenting the modern, methodical, perceptible Ascension system that successfully worked for them, and that is openly accessible to anyone seeking it. Through the sharing of their unique and personal life stories, an attainable, clear-cut spiritual path is revealed that no longer requires the asceticism and isolation of ancient days of old, aided both by Beings of higher realms as well as a community of fellow human initiates who seek to support and love you along your ascent. Open your heart and mind to a new spiritual paradigm that encompasses the most important purpose of your existence. The opportunity to free yourself from rebirth and embody your Higher Self exists right now, and all life in our cosmos will experience the positive ripple effect of your Modern Ascension journey.

Locating Hell in Islamic Traditions by Christian Lange Pdf

Islam is often seen as a religious tradition in which hell does not play a particularly prominent role. This volume challenges this hackneyed view. Locating Hell in Islamic Traditions is the first book-length analytic study of the Muslim hell. It maps out a broad spectrum of Islamic attitudes toward hell, from the Quranic vision(s) of hell to the pious cultivation of the fear of the afterlife, theological speculations, metaphorical and psychological understandings, and the modern transformations of hell. Contributors: Frederick Colby, Daniel de Smet, Christiane Gruber, Jon Hoover, Mohammad Hassan Khalil, Christian Lange, Christopher Melchert, Simon O’Meara, Samuela Pagani, Tommaso Tesei, Roberto Tottoli, Wim Raven, and Richard van Leeuwen.

The Eschatological Economy by Douglas H. Knight Pdf

"Douglas Knight has produced an ambitious, engaging, and creative account of the drama of redemption by changing the baseline terms in the discussion. This is constructive theology of a bold and fresh kind, taking seriously Israel, sacrifice, and an account of the problem of the human condition indebted to Irenaeus and Zizioulas. It is remarkable for its timely account of the church's destiny in the world of God's urgent, consummative work." --Christopher Seitz, University of St. Andrews "Knight combines a rigorous and scripturally disciplined dogmatic approach with fundamental analysis of metaphysical concepts. The result is an exciting and theologically motivated challenge to our modern assumptions about time and change, embodiment and identity." --R. R. Reno, Creighton University "No attentive reader of this book can fail to be impressed by its scope, boldness, and sheer theological energy. As he moves across the fields of historical and systematic theology, biblical studies, and philosophy, Knight demonstrates the resources within the Christian tradition for critical analysis and hopeful reconstruction of culture. This provocative book deserves to be read and debated very widely." --John Webster, University of Aberdeen "Douglas Knight is a free-flowing fountain of unexpected ideas and connections." --Robert W. Jenson, Center of Theological Inquiry, Princeton "In the tradition of Irenaeus's Against Heresies and in conversation with leading theologians and biblical scholars, this tour de force tells a grand narrative of all things coming together and coming to be in Israel, Jesus Christ, and the church. Douglas Knight displays an impressive imagination for pulling together a dizzying variety of voices. --Telford Work, Westmont College "Dense, erudite, and provocative, this work confirms the vitality of British, indeed European, doctrinal theology. . . . The reader opening to any page will be rewarded with startling and original theological insights." --Brian Brock, University of Aberdeen

Knowing God through Journey and Pilgrimage by Seung Yeal Lee Pdf

The Hebrew/Christian Scriptures include many allusions to pilgrimage customs and practices, yet the information is scattered and requires a considerable amount of reconstruction. It is posited that the pilgrimage paradigm, including the journey motif, has influenced the thought patterns of the writers of both the Old and New Testaments. To follow Jesus' journey to Jerusalem on the three feasts of pilgrimage in Luke-Acts and John, and their relevance to the way he revealed himself and taught his disciples, this work begins with the creation and patriarchal narratives, examining how the pilgrimage paradigm relates to discipleship. Reviewing the history of the people of God including the Exodus, the Exile, and restoration, this book establishes the significance of pilgrimage as a paradigm for Israel that eventually shapes Judaism. Seung Y Lee points us to a neglected fact that the three feasts of pilgrimage have developed their own characters and meanings for the momentous events in the history of Israel, and both Luke-Acts and John reflect the significance of the pilgrimage paradigm for Jesus' self-understanding and his teaching.

Revelations of the Cross by James Innell Packer Pdf

"Collected writings on the Trinity, Christ, and the Holy Spirit" In this collection of writings from one of the most well-known theologians of the modern era, Packer strongly defends Trinitarian theology and the uniqueness of Jesus Christ against contemporary challenges. In so doing, he deals with theological issues such as atonement, justification and universalism. He calls for believers to be serious about the Holy Spirit, and his articles on this topic are valuable examples of how to apply theological beliefs to controversial issues within the church. The articles range from short devotional pieces published in church-sponsored journals, to opinion articles for popular journals like Christianity Today, to major articles for scholarly journals. Contents Foreword 1. The Trinity and the Gospel 2. On Covenant Theology 3. Jesus Christ the Lord 4. Jesus Christ: the Only Saviour 5. The Lamb Upon His Throne 6. A Modern View of Jesus 7.
