"The Lecture Series will cover the field of airborne and spaceborne SAR with respect to its technical realisation in order to convey the participants' ideas and know-how on SAR, on its capabilities and on the technology necessary for the successful construction and application of airborne and spaceborne SAR systems. The basic principles of SAR will be explained and SAR will be compared to airborne and spaceborne radar with real aperture.
