Symphony of Souls by Eden Trinidad Soriano Pdf

The beauty of the Garden of Eden, the paradise which represents our Mother earth. This book was conceived when some of my close good and great poet friends started creating poems about me and surprised me by posting it on social media. Ashok Kumar of India is the first one who started it. He has created several poems about me and the garden of Eden and sent it to me. Then Hasmukh Mehta, an Indian poet who created more than 20,000 poems posted in poemhunter.com, created a poem for me by merely reading my face lines. Dr. Navin Kumar Upadhyay of India without telling me picked some of my poems he saw posted on my FB wall and started translating my poems in Hindi and from then on translated almost all my poems in Hindi Language. Tian Yu, my Chinese multiawarded Poet friend who never failed to send me good morning and goodnight greetings contributed as well and Yele Nob from Uganda the first poet I made friends over Social Media. I also included some of Leticia Guzman's and Felipe de Jesus A. Hernandez translation of my poems in Spanish which she translated and recited over her program "Voces Y Plumas con la Poesia Unamos Al Mundo" which is being aired every Saturday over Universal Radio Station in Mexico. Also included are translations of my 3 poems in Nepali Lang age by Zen Master Krishna Prasai. And to have met the great Poet and Thoracic heart surg on Dr. Lanka Siva Rama Prasad from India who really is the first poet who offered to translate my Eden Blooms in Telugu while we are both in Accra Ghana Africa during the International Humanitarian Conference in 2018 and the first one who trusted me to translate in my national language one of his important literary work titled, "The Casket Of Vermillion". Prince Waheed Musah, my son in Ghana, Africa, the Founder of International Humanity Day (IHD & IHC), and Hafrikan Prince Art World grace this book with his poems as well. Also, part of this book are few poems of my youngest beloved son Psalm Samuel Jabez S. Trinidad who besides being a musician, surprise me of his poetic writings too. The book blurb is by the epic poet Edwin Cordevilla who turned this simple poetry book into an epic one. I am indeed so much blessed to have these gifted souls and their great expressive pearls comprise this Eden Blooms 2 "Symphony of Souls". I am publishing this book to show the world how grateful I am and how I value the friendship of these very special poets towards me.

The Dance of the Peacock by Vivekanand Jha Pdf

The Dance of the Peacock, focused as it is on poetry in English by Indians and diasporic Indians, is also a celebration of diversity. This anthology is a brave attempt to capture something of the Indian English global poetry scene at this moment in time. It does not pretend to be a comprehensive collection; rather it is a genuine and rewarding sampler for the reader who would like an introduction to its riches. Dr. Debjani Chatterjee, MBE Sheffield, UK Editor of the renowned poetry collections, The Redbeck Anthology of British South Asian Poetry (Redbeck Press) and Masala: Poems from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka (Macmillan) The Dance of the Peacock is a diverse collection of contemporary English poetry from Indian. The 151 poets represented in this book hail from the many different states of India as well as from the United Kingdom, United States and Canada. The poets between these covers range in age from 15 to 92. It is rare that one will find a more diverse collection of poets representing Indo-English poetry.

Towards a Sustainable Information Society by Jan Servaes,Nico Carpentier Pdf

The Information Society is one of the recurrent imaginaries to describe present-day structures, discourses and practices. Within its meaning is enshrined the promise of a better world, sometimes naively assuming a technological deus ex machina, in other cases hoping for the creation of policy tools that will overcome a diversity of societal divides. With the two-phased World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), the United Nations attempted to stimulate the development of such tools. Simultaneously, the WSIS is a large-scale experiment in multistakeholderism. The objective was to create a more balanced decision-making process that would allow the voices of civil society and business actors to be heard in international politics. This book aims to evaluate the potentialities of both the Information Society, and the WSIS in supporting and constructing more democratic, just and developed societies. It is the second book arising from the intellectual work of European Consortium for Communications Research members.

Specialised and Professional Discourse Across Media and Genres by Giuliana Garzone,Paola Catenaccio,Kim S. Grego Pdf

This book deals with discursive aspects of specialised communication, looking in particular at the role and scope of language and discourse in professional practice across a variety of fields and modes. Its chapters are diverse in their outlooks, analytical procedures, and object of enquiry, and span across different specialised domains, settings, genres, and media (from face-to-face communication to television, from traditional websites to social networking sites). In broad terms, they are all set in a discourse-analytical framework and share the ultimate purpose of providing new insights into the evolution of discourse practices used by professionals in a variety of specialised genres at a time characterised by rapid scientific and dramatic technological advances accompanied by important societal, sociotechnical and cultural transformations. Professional and workplace routines and procedures are embedded in a dense network of discursive practices, which both determine and reflect professional roles, knowledge, expertise, positions and tasks at any given moment in time. Thus, when experts communicate with the general public, a display of competence in the specialised register of the relevant domain is of the essence. This need for discursive competence, in addition to professional expertise, is generally acknowledged also in education and training. The essays gathered in this volume bear out this view, and collectively aim to contribute to the discursive study of professional practices by providing insights into the multiple ways in which discourse partakes of them.

Border, Globalization and Identity by Sanatan Bhowal,Sukanta Das,Sisodhara Syangbo Pdf

This collection investigates the complex and myriad relations between identity and borders in an increasingly globalized world. The movement towards a borderless world, bolstered by an unprecedented development in information and communication technology, forces us to rethink traditional notions of singular identity, and directs us towards the need for engaging and negotiating with the world in multiple ways. Employing a wide range of critical approaches to works that examine and explore the contested terrain of globalization and the hotly disputed arena of borders, the essays brought together here offer innovative perspectives through which issues of borders, globalization and identity can be negotiated. Straddling various genres, this collection represents an investigation of the conflicting relationship between identity and borders in the contemporary globalized world.

Not Even Laughter by Phillip Crymble Pdf

Not Even Laughter is one of the most assured first collections I have read in a long time. The tightly controlled lines, rich with detail, surprise in their unfolding, transforming the commonplace into something otherworldly.-Gerard Beirne. "Phillip Crymble is a rueful and reluctant lyricist, a poet who assures us It doesn't mean that much to me. It doesn't.' And yet the poems' economy of utterance and eloquent plainness make clear that it does."ichard Tillinghast.
