Swami Narayanananda teaches that brahmacharya and mind-control are necessary to attain the aim of life known as Freedom or Nirvikalpa Samadhi. Brahmacharya is only possible with mind control and is necessary for the rising of the kundalini shakti to the sahasrara chakra where spiritual Enlightenment takes place.
