People do all kind of things to please God. But the Bible teaches us that God is pleased by what we believe rather than what we do. Abraham believed God, and God declared him righteous. God created us to commune with Him. We can only commune with God by faith. Faith is all about what you believe and your faith walk begins with what you believe about God. God's desire is that we enter into His rest. If we are to enter into God's rest we must exercise the faith of God. And since we have the same spirit of faith according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak.
