Biblical Genesis - a New Light on the Origins of Man, the Earth and the Universe by Renza Giacobbi Pdf

Don Guido Bortoluzzi was born in Puos d'Alpago, in the province of Belluno, Italy, in 1907. He attended the junior high school at the seminary of Feltre. One day, while there, Don Giovanni Calabria (later declared a Saint) passed by for a visit. When he noticed the young Guido, he told him in front of the rector and the whole class that, in his old age, Guido would receive important revelations about the Genesis. When attending the high school at the seminary of Belluno, the Peruvian Servant of God, Father Mateo Crawley, predicted the same thing to him; on that occasion, he also predicted to another student, the young Albino Luciani (the future Pope John Paul I) that he would attain the highest level of the Ecclesiastical hierarchy. After he was ordained priest, Don Giulio received the visit of Teresa Neumann, who was there in bilocation: after predicting to him the same things he had been told at the seminary, she advised him to take written note of all that the Lord would reveal to him. She also predicted that he would have gone through much suffering. It is to be noted that Don Guido had also "witnessed", to the smallest details and 18 years in advance, the disaster of the Vajont dam. On that occasion, he had immediately warned the local population and his own superiors, but no one would believe him. At the age of sixty-five, Don Guido was starting to believe that the prophecies would never come true because he felt undeserving. It was then that the Lord made him assist, in full awareness, to the creation of the Universe, of the Earth, of the Man and the Woman. He could notice that our ancestors were created as perfect beings and thathow the original sin, or the hybridization of the perfect human species, had caused a progressive involution in the subsequent generations, because the descendants were inheriting hybrid, hominid characters. Only after several regenerative interventions of the Lord, could the human species initiate its re-evolution, when the right time came (the fullness of time) for mankind to receive the Word of God and the Redemption offered by Him.

The History of the Universe and the Origin of Man by Slave of the Lord Pdf

The book sheds new light on the first three chapters of Genesis, a Light received in an experience lived in the soul. It presents the evolutionary process of the psycho-physical formation of the Human Nature in the bosom of this created Universe, and the awakening of the Divine consciousness in man - masculine and feminine - as well as its loss by their succumbing to the temptation to be «like God, knowers of good and evil.»

Genesis and the Big Bang Theory by Gerald Schroeder Pdf

A ground-breaking book that takes on skeptics from both sides of the cosmological debate, arguing that science and the Bible are not at odds concerning the origin of the universe. The culmination of a physicist's thirty-five-year journey from MIT to Jerusalem, Genesis and the Big Bang presents a compelling argument that the events of the billions of years that cosmologists say followed the Big Bang and those of the first six days described in Genesis are, in fact, one and the same—identical realities described in vastly different terms. In engaging, accessible language, Dr. Schroeder reconciles the observable facts of science with the very essence of Western religion: the biblical account of Creation. Carefully reviewing and interpreting accepted scientific principles, analogous passages of Scripture, and biblical scholarship, Dr. Schroeder arrives at a conclusion so lucid that one wonders why it has taken this long in coming. The result for the reader—whether believer or skeptic, Jewish or Christian—is a totally fresh understanding of the key events in the life of the universe.

Coming to Grips With Genesis by Dr. Terry Mortenson,Thane Ury Pdf

Fourteen theological scholars address key topics related to the age of the earth, which is the crucial issue of debate in the church today regarding origins. Bringing to bear rigorous biblical, theological, and historical arguments in favor of a six-day creation, the global Flood, and a young earth, they also provide much-needed critiques of a number of contemporary old-earth interpretations of the book of Genesis. This fresh defense of the literal history of Genesis 1-11 nicely complements other studies which focus more on the scientific evidence of young-earth creationism. As such, this book can serve as a versatile supplement to other works, but is also designed to be used as a standalone text for seminary and Bible college professors and students, pastors, missionaries, and others who want in-depth apologetic resources. Coming to Grips with Genesis: Biblical Authority and the Age of the Earthincludes: Forewords by Dr. John MacArthur, President of the Master's Seminary and Senior Pastor of Grace Community Church, Sun Valley, CA; and the late Dr. Henry Morris, Founder and President Emeritus, Institute for Creation Research Detailed analysis of the verbs of Genesis 1 A defense of the Genesis 5 & 11 genealogies as strict chronologies Reasons for rejecting millions of years of death and natural evil before Adam's sin Careful reflection on Jesus' teachings regarding a young earth

The Genesis Enigma by Andrew Parker Pdf

An acclaimed, paradigm-shifting evolutionary biologist shows how the biblical story of Genesis uncannily reflects recent scientific discoveries-and finds room for divine inspiration within. Consider this: Genesis recounts the story of creation, step-by-step: "Let there be light"; "Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; "Let the earth bring forth [vegetation]"; "Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life"; "God created the whales"; "And God created . . . every winged fowl." For thousands of years, Judeo-Christian belief has accepted this progression as truth. And now, thanks to recent scientific discoveries, the scientific community does, too (though without the mention of "God"). In The Genesis Enigma, respected evolutionary biologist Andrew Parker explains each parallel between Genesis and science in detail-and the closer he looks, the more amazing the parallels become. But the Genesis account has no right to be correct. The author or authors could not have known these things happened in this order, and with the highlights science has come to recognize. Ultimately, Parker argues, it must be divine inspiration that guided the writing of the Bible. This startling conclusion will make The Genesis Enigma a must-read for believers and scientists alike.

Maps of Meaning by Jordan B. Peterson Pdf

Why have people from different cultures and eras formulated myths and stories with similar structures? What does this similarity tell us about the mind, morality, and structure of the world itself? From the author of 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos comes a provocative hypothesis that explores the connection between what modern neuropsychology tells us about the brain and what rituals, myths, and religious stories have long narrated. A cutting-edge work that brings together neuropsychology, cognitive science, and Freudian and Jungian approaches to mythology and narrative, Maps of Meaning presents a rich theory that makes the wisdom and meaning of myth accessible to the critical modern mind.

Creation and Cosmos - The Literal Values of Genesis by Garrison Clifford Gibson Pdf

There are many questions that intelligent people have about the Bible, science and evolution theory. Finding intelligent answers is difficult. The problem is that specialization is required in the sciences, in philosophy and theology, so people tend to pick one and disregard the others. There aren't so many people that consider all three fields with much depth of understanding. I made a try at that and wrote a book that is free to download. It is not only difficult to understand all three fields, it is difficult to select what should be written about, and difficult to write well. I didn't by any means cover everything; there is lots to cover.

Creation and the Consequence of Satan's Fall by Pieter Dykstra Pdf

The Gap Theory shows evidence of the dinosaurs becoming extinct as the result of Satan's fall and explores the origin of demons as being disembodied spirits of a pre-Adamic race, who were judged by God, as the result of Satan's sin. Why was man commissioned by God in Genesis 1:28 to "replenish" the earth? Why did God use that word? Could this be a reference to a pre-Adamic race that was created in Genesis 1:1 and destroyed in Genesis 1:2 due to Satan's fall, and which the human was to "replace" or "replenish"? Read where angels that sinned left their heavenly habitation and came down to earth to procreate with humans and whose children were called "Mighty men, which were of old, men of renown," offspring that are the source of all the ancient secular myths that claim the "gods" came down to earth and married human women.

The Book of Genesis by Brian Simmons Pdf

The Book of Genesis is God’s autobiography and the foundation upon which all revelation rests. The purpose of this book is to give the origin of all things, including the cosmic order of the universe and the covenant relationship between God and his people. Speaking the Word from his eternal dwelling place of light, God fashioned everything from nothing, perfectly displaying his awesome wonder. We will never be able to take the mystery out of Creation, for a God who is incomprehensible in his greatness accomplished it. One of the over-arching themes of Genesis is God’s blessing. His highest order is not the earth or the cosmos, it is man and woman, made after his kind, to be containers for his glory. Genesis showcases God’s redemptive heart toward the world—a theme that can be traced throughout the rest of the Hebrew Scriptures. When God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was completely formless and empty, with nothing but darkness draped over the deep. God’s Spirit swept over the face of the waters. And then God announced: “Let there be light,” and light burst forth! Genesis 1:1-3
