HowExpert Guide to Bodyguarding: 101 Tips to Learn How to Bodyguard, Improve, and Succeed as an Executive Protection Agent by Howexpert,Cody Blocker Pdf

Many times when people hear the word "bodyguard," a certain image forms in their mind. Unfortunately, this image is too often complicated by stereotypes of muscular men in sunglasses and fancy suits shooting handguns as they jump sideways over a car in slow motion. I have never seen this in my experience as a bodyguard. I have seen many years of professionals working day in and day out, committed to protecting innocent people from people who want to harm them. I have witnessed professionalism that has humbled me and inspired me. I had been fortunate enough to work with professionals who I watched be the first to arrive, work all day in stressful environments, and be the last to leave. They are the professionals who work all of the time and are never seen or heard from on camera. They are silent and remain behind the scenes. Every day, more and more threats emerge in our world. Everything from terrorism to rising crime rates continues to make our world more and more dangerous. One thing is for sure, the need for protection and personal security is not going away. If you are interested in the industry of bodyguard work or executive protection, or even if you are already working in this field, this book is a great resource. It lists 101 principles that have been learned by someone who has been working in the private security and executive protection sector for over ten years. The Bodyguards of Lies by Christopher Whelan Pdf

This book uses real-world examples, case studies, and commentary from practitioners to reveal the many and varied strategies American and English lawyers use to protect truth. It shows how they tackle their conflicting duties, and highlights the 'tragic choices' lawyers everywhere routinely make through their 'power of decision'. What emerges are new ways of understanding the critical role lawyers play in society – and their professional responsibilities. 'Truth is so precious it should always be protected by a bodyguard of lies.' Churchill said this about wartime deception plans, but lawyers' clients may think their truth - especially an 'inconvenient truth' - is so precious it too should be protected. Lawyers are 'bodyguards of lies' when they use so-called 'tricks of the trade' not only to keep clients' secrets but to construct a reality that is far from real. But should they? Lawyers have a divided loyalty. The book presents a unique and fascinating account of what happens when lawyers' duties to clients conflict with their duties to the legal system, and looks in detail at the ethical codes and laws that regulate their conduct.

Pseudepigraphy and Ethical Argument in the Pastoral Epistles by Lewis R. Donelson Pdf

By employing analyses of the literary structure of ancient pseudepigraphical letters and of the logical structure of ethical argument, this study discovers in the Pastoral Epistles a consistent theological ethic that has cosmological and cultic grounding. First, an investigation of Greco-Roman religious pseudepigraphical letters identifies those literary patterns that determine the form of argumentation in the Pastoral Epistles. Second, an investigation of the structure of ethical argument produces categories for organizing and analyzing the apparently disorganized arguments in these letters. Finally, this study concludes that the author of the Pastoral Epistles builds a coherent theological ethic by falsifying Pauline history and by grounding his ethical warrants in church officers.

Definition and Induction by Kisor Kumar Chakrabarti Pdf

Definition is an important scientific and philosophical method. In all kinds of scientific and philosophical inquiries definition is provided to make clear the characteristics of the things under investigation. Definition in this sense, sometimes called real definition, should state the essence of the thing defined, according to Aristotle. In another (currently popular) sense, sometimes called nominal definition, definition explicates the meaning of a term already in use in an ordinary language or the scientific discourse or specifies the meaning of a new term introduced in an ordinary language of the scientific discourse. Definition combines the purposes of both real and nominal definition and is promoted by the Nyaya philosophers of India. Another important method of science and philosophy is induction. In a narrow sense induction is a method of generalization to all cases from the observation of particular cases. In a broad sense induction is a method for reasoning from some observed fact to a different fact not involved in the former. We understand induction in the broad sense though more often we shall actually be concerned with induction in the narrow sense. How can our limited experience of nature provide the rational basis for making knowlege claims about unobserved phenomena?
