Thoughts and Gleanings by Ralph Beall Pdf

In this volume are the Bible answers to many of the questions some may have about some of the teachings in the Scriptures. What is Gods desire and purpose in creation? What is the gift of God the Father? Of God the Son? Of God the Holy Spirit? What is the relationship of God, Satan, and man to one another? Who is God the Holy Spirit, and what is his work? Was Satan created? Will mans soul/spirit exist forevermore? What is the origin, the purpose, and the destiny of man? What is sin? What is death, physical and spiritual? Who is the source of all lies and all evil, wickedness, and sin? Who is the source of all truth, logic, reason, and all that is good, righteous, and wise? What is the cause of all sorrow, suffering, pain, sickness, and death? Whose sins are washed away? Can one be pleasing to God and be a soldier, a policeman? Does God desire/approve of any person enslaving another? Is man under any law from God today? Is man shaped by nurture or nature? What must one do to be saved, have his sins forgiven, and live forevermore in heaven with the godhead three? What is the power of God that can save the soul to live forevermore in heaven? What are the things which must shortly come to pass for the time is at hand and revealed by signs to the Apostle John by Jesus Christ? (Revelation 1:13)

Lead Us Not Into Temptation by Raymond Arroyo Jr. Pdf

Lead Us Not Into Temptation is a spiritual book as given to me by God. This book is different from other spiritual books in that it connects man with his sole link to God and that is through his own soul. Regardless of one’s religion or persuasion, this book is for all people to find their way back to God. For secularism, religion and intellectualism have failed miserably in bringing true peace and love into this world, be it in the past, our present and probably in our future also. Jesus once said, “truly, truly you must be born again of the spirit. For that which is of water is water (the body), and that which is of spirit is spirit. For the Father is spirit and for us to worship Him we must worship in spirit and in truth.” This is a universal law, the same for all people all over the world, regardless of their religious beliefs. For we all worship the same one God, and He must be worshipped in spirit and in truth. The purpose of this book is to help people change from their secular life to a spiritual life and to develop a closer walk with God in their daily lives. By which we then begin to worship God the Father in spirit and in truth. This is the one pathway never chosen by man and is the pathway to peace on earth and good will towards all men. It is the pathway to the salvation for all mankind. Part One: Lead Us Not Into Temptation explores the history of man back to the Garden of Eden and the first temptation where man falls from grace. Man after that incident embarks on a journey of secularism, worldliness and materiality, which only separates him more and more from God. Although man has had the opportunity to live in the time of the great prophets of God and with Jesus himself, he has still maintained a steady course in his secular/worldly lifestyle constantly refusing to follow the spiritual path of God. This stubbornness of man has brought him to where we find our world today, in the grips of a huge recession and probably a depression, and world tensions and terrorism threatening the peace of the world. Part Two: Deliver Us From Evil, teaches how one can develop a life of spirituality and redemption from both God and from oneself. I begin with the prophecies of God as given to us in the Holy Bible and in the Bible codes. I explain how these prophecies line up with our generation living on Earth right now and are 100% accurate and have all been fulfilled to date. They are God’s warning to us that we cannot go on living worldly/secularly lives for we are reaching the end of the road: the End Times as predicted in the bible. It is a warning meaning we can change the future from doom and gloom to eternal bliss, but it is up to each of us. That unless we are willing to make some very fundamental changes in our lives towards one another and to God, we won’t survive as a civilization That without faith, hope and love in God we are doomed to repeat our mistakes. I teach the power of prayer and how that through prayer with God, one will find the answer and changes for their lives. I show how a prayer life is the only link we have to God the Father. Through daily prayer, one will begin the process of recreating a life of spirituality. I teach the principles of a spiritual life and the fruits of God’s Holy Spirit. How God works the fruits into your life changing you from your former self (imperfections and dislikes) into the new person filled with the wonderful fruits of God’s Holy Spirit. I explain that the key of life is love for without love there could be no God, no universe, no us. This book is for all people of all races, all religions to find the cure to life that has escaped them all through the years. It will unite the reader to a one to one relation with God and a healing and rebirth for their souls.

A Lost Virtue and the Search for Truth by Lillian Carucio Pdf

This book assesses the deleterious changes in Western culture, especially in America, by comparing what has been with what is. In doing so, the author deduces a common thread of causality at the root of this universal degeneration in politics, education, family life, religion, and social mores. This text invites the reader to contemplate how we arrived at a place where we would rather imagine who or what God is than believe what he has told us.

Humanism for Parents by Sean Curley Pdf

By some estimates, over 1 billion people in the world are non-religious (humanist/secular/atheist) yet we base some of our parenting techniques and traditions on religion. There are many books available on parenting around each of the major religions, but few around parenting in a Humanist household. This book is an attempt to outline how non-religious parents can have rites, rituals, and practices needed for a healthy, spiritually fulfilled family.

Humanism and Religion by Jens Zimmermann Pdf

The question of who 'we' are and what vision of humanity 'we' assume in Western culture lies at the heart of hotly debated questions on the role of religion in education, politics, and culture in general. The need for recovering a greater purpose for social practices is indicated, for example, by the rapidly increasing number of publications on the demise of higher education, lamenting the fragmentation of knowledge and university culture's surrender to market-driven pragmatism. The West's cultural rootlessness and lack of cultural identity are also revealed by the failure of multiculturalism to integrate religiously vibrant immigrant cultures. A main cause of the West's cultural malaise is the long-standing separation of reason and faith. Jens Zimmermann suggests that the West can rearticulate its identity and renew its cultural purpose by recovering the humanistic ethos that originally shaped Western culture. In tracing the religious roots of humanism from patristic theology, through the Renaissance into modern philosophy, we find that humanism was originally based on the correlation of reason and faith. In this book, the author combines humanism, religion, and hermeneutic philosophy to re-imagine humanism for our current cultural and intellectual climate. The hope of this recovery is for humanism to become what Charles Taylor has called a 'social imaginary', an internalized vision of what it means to be human. This vision will encourage, once again, the correlation of reason and faith in order to overcome current cultural impasses, such as those posed, for example, by religious and secularist fundamentalisms.

Do I Stay Christian? by Brian D. McLaren Pdf

Dubbed "a heroic gate-crasher" by New York Times bestselling author Glennon Doyle, Brian D. McLaren explores reasons to leave or stay within the church and if so how... "Brian's new book on remaining Christian knocks it out of the ballpark in terms of framing and naming the questions. I cannot stop reading it. Thank you, Brian!" —Fr. Richard Rohr, OFM, founder of the Center for Action and Contemplation, author of The Universal Christ "Any thoughtful Christian has been asking the questions McLaren tackles here, but many of us are afraid to voice them aloud. In Do I Stay Christian? we’re gifted a gentle guide who opens ideas and voices the questions we cannot, naming our frustration, fear, and hesitant hope." —Rev. Dr. Amy Butler, former Senior Minister, The Riverside Church; Founder, Invested Faith Do I Stay Christian? addresses in public the powerful question that surprising numbers of people—including pastors, priests, and other religious leaders—are asking in private. Picking up where Faith After Doubt leaves off, Do I Stay Christian? is not McLaren's attempt to persuade Christians to dig in their heels or run for the exit. Instead, he combines his own experience with that of thousands of people who have confided in him over the years to help readers make a responsible, honest, ethical decision about their religious identity. There is a way to say both yes and no to the question of staying Christian, McLaren says, by shifting the focus from whether we stay Christian to how we stay human. If Do I Stay Christian? is the question you're asking—or if it's a question that someone you love is asking—this is the book you've been waiting for.
