Unlike many specialties in the nursing profession, the home-health nurse's work setting necessarily differs every day. In fact, it often changes multiple times a day as a result of having to travel from location to location, home to home, visiting the day's assigned patients. Sorting through all of the visit details at the end of each day can be a daunting task, especially since many home-health nurses must also round out their workweek by accepting assignments from multiple agencies, all of which have their own requirements when it comes to documentation. After-visit reports must be filed, future daily visits must be scheduled, and things like mileage and out-of-pocket expenses must be logged.This unique planner/organizer is designed to help the home-health nurse be as efficient as possible by capturing all of the details necessary for reporting while also providing prompts for conducting the best possible assessment of each patient.
