Coronavirus the Pandemic of the Century and the Wrath of God by Ramsis F. Ghaly MD Pdf

Towards the end of 2019, I started to feel that the Lord, our God, had had enough of the stubborn and stiff necked people as their wickedness, rebellion, and disobedience continued against him and his son. These actions were a resemblance of the days of Noah, Sodom, Gomorrah, and Nineveh. I felt that Jesus, the son of God, no longer had a home here on Earth. There was no place for him in homes, playgrounds, workplaces, and sadly, no home in the churches that worshipped his holy name. I witnessed the wrath of God against Satan, beginning with the apocalyptic fires in Australia that killed millions of animals and destroyed the beautiful land. I began to warn the world through my posts starting on January 5, 2020. I knew his wrath would continue, this time by way of an apocalyptic pandemic that would kill thousands of people. I began to dream about the looming crisis and started to share with the world through my social media. I decided to write my first post on January 30, 2020 relating to the pandemic, calling for a worldwide chain of prayer. I knew the Coronavirus pandemic could not be treated and that many casualties could be expected. I could feel that God was angry while Satan was elated at the state of our world. Following my posts in January of 2020, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic began evolving. I continued to cry out to the world, but was attacked, mocked, and threatened as people accused me of spreading rumors. I was told to stop, as people said, “This virus is nothing. It’s just another flu.” Others said, “You’re supposed to be a scientist and should know that the seasonal flu takes the lives of thousands every year. This Coronavirus is no threat.” I wished that they all would see what I see and hear what I hear, but few did. I decided to record all of my thoughts, dreams, nightmares, prayers, reflections, and predictions about this dangerous and lethal pandemic that the world was trying to dismiss. This book consists of 73 chapters across under ten sections, contain all of my posts in the order that they were written as well as my notes regarding what I have seen beginning in January 2020 until now, including my thoughts on the post-pandemic era. Some of my predictions have already occurred while others have yet to be seen. I believe that the message we should receive from all of this is that the world must look to our God, the almighty, and his son, Jesus, our Savior. The son shall return and God will lift his wrath as we all go through our journey of repentance here on earth for our salvation lies with the blood of Jesus. Only recently I have started to receive calls in which the people that doubted me have apologized that they did not listen sooner. They have seen that I knew what was coming and tried to warn them. While the Coronavirus pandemic continues, I pray that the Lord will have mercy upon our people and upon the face of the earth.

God and the Pandemic by N. T. Wright Pdf

Discover a different way of seeing and responding to the Coronavirus pandemic, an approach drawing on Scripture, Christian history, and the way of living, thinking, and praying revealed to us by Jesus. What are we supposed to think about the Coronavirus crisis? Some people think they know: "This is a sign of the End," they say. "It's all predicted in the book of Revelation." Others disagree but are equally clear: "This is a call to repent. God is judging the world and through this disease he's telling us to change." Some join in the chorus of blame and condemnation: "It's the fault of the Chinese, the government, the World Health Organization…" N. T. Wright examines these reactions to the virus and finds them wanting. Instead, he shows that a careful reading of the Bible and Christian history offers simple though profound answers to our many questions, including: What should be the Christian response? How should we think about God? How do we live in the present? Why should we lament? What should we learn about ourselves? How do we recover? Written by one of the world's foremost New Testament scholars, God and the Pandemic will serve as your guide to read the events of today through the light of Jesus' death and resurrection.

The Little Wasn’t the Least After All! by Ramsis F. Ghaly MD Pdf

In the final days of Christmas 2019 I had an epiphany. I will never forget that night when I cried out as I saw a vision of that "little"! Since then, I have felt so dismal and would rather bury my head in the sand! No matter where I go and how fast I run, I can’t forget that dream or catch that invisible "little" anymore! I found myself running away and I couldn't help it! I would ask myself, "To whom should I report to?", "What is the remedy other than running away?" These questions have brought me to author the fourth book on COVID-19. This series has covered the world's journey, experiences, and views since it all began. It was just a "little" and wasn’t much. Before I knew it, it had infected the world entirely. It was supposed to pass by swiftly with "little" to be done. Then it proceeded to be remedied by a face mask for two weeks, followed by just one dose of a vaccine. All the while, the nightmare never ended. The "little" invader of human cells creeped in unnoticed; in the darkness, and left imprinted memories for generations to come. It has changed our day to day lives for more than two years, shaped our daily living, and will affect our future for decades to come. The "little" wasn’t the least as the world thought, and was indeed ignored, as many downplayed its sharp spikes until it killed millions and infected hundreds of millions. The world is living in tears and terrors, broken hearted, and in fear. "What is next?'', I would ask myself, as it appears it is only getting worse as the news of wars and economic collapse are already at our door. To make things grave, many forever lost! But now, lessons must be learned and the wisdom of the past shall carry the world to the future. Over 16 sections and 188 chapters, the book represents the last of the author’s series of COVID-19 as it covers the last year of the pandemic and the most recent events. It represents the author’s views and highlights a wide variety of topics ranging from living stories, medical and political to philosophical views and experiences. The book reflects the author’s Christian and medical devotions as it covers many true patients stories, patients’ testimonials, medical events, and resident education.

Plague, Pestilence and Pandemic: Voices from History by Peter Furtado Pdf

An eye-opening anthology from the bestselling editor of Histories of Nations, exploring how people around the globe have suffered and survived during plague and pandemic, from the ancient world to the present. Plague, pestilence, and pandemics have been a part of the human story from the beginning and have been reflected in art and writing at every turn. Humankind has always struggled with illness; and the experiences of different cities and countries have been compared and connected for thousands of years. Many great authors have published their eyewitness accounts and survivor stories of the great contagions of the past. When the great Muslim traveler Ibn Battuta visited Damascus in 1348 during the great plague, which went on to kill half of the population, he wrote about everything he saw. He reported, "God lightened their affliction; for the number of deaths in a single day at Damascus did not attain 2,000, while in Cairo it reached the figure of 24,000 a day." From the plagues of ancient Egypt recorded in Genesis to those like the Black Death that ravaged Europe in the Middle Ages, and from the Spanish flu of 1918 to the Covid-19 pandemic in our own century, this anthology contains fascinating accounts. Editor Peter Furtado places the human experience at the center of these stories, understanding that the way people have responded to disease crises over the centuries holds up a mirror to our own actions and experiences. Plague, Pestilence and Pandemic includes writing from around the world and highlights the shared emotional responses to pandemics: from rage, despair, dark humor, and heartbreak, to finally, hope that it may all be over. By connecting these moments in history, this book places our own reactions to the Covid-19 pandemic within the longer human story.

The Roses of Love Bloom in My Christianity and Neurosurgery Patients by Ramsis F. Ghaly MD Pdf

This is my 16th book in a series of books under the heading of “Christianity and the Human Brain”. It is about my continuing love to our lord Savior Jesus Christ and for my special passion for Neurosurgery. I am grateful I am able to fully commit to Neuroscience and my Neurosurgery patients. It is the collection of roses of love on our journey that transforms where we are in the planet earth into a heavenly garden. Two decades ago. I felt compelled to begin sharing the synopsis of my journey as a committed Christian Neurosurgeon and Anesthesiologist, actively practicing patients’ care in America close to four decades. Indeed, as many have experienced, our journey is full of stories that put demand on us for the coming new generations, to write about as our deep faith in Christianity opens our own eyes to see, our ears to hear, our minds to reflect and our hands to write. My greatest honor is to take the reader through more of my roses of love journey in my life, in Medicine with Neurosurgery patients, Residents and Trainee, in Christmas, through my Deep Spiritual Reflections, personal views and healthcare matters with living examples. The book contains eleven sections distributed in 89 chapters covering topics including love and Roses, Thanksgiving, Deep reflections, Way to Soon, My Christmas, Christmas with My Patients, Special Christmas, Human Trafficking, Christian Persecution, Synopsis in My Medical Journey, Healthcare, Patients’ Testimonial, stories and Patients’ quotes. The present book compliments my previous 15 books. My prayer is to be a positive influence to you and yours, in our Lord Jesus Christ Name. For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever and ever Amen.

With a New Chapter and Updated Epilogue on Coronavirus A Financial Times Best Health Book of 2019 and a New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice "Honigsbaum does a superb job covering a century’s worth of pandemics and the fears they invariably unleash." —Howard Markel, MD, PhD, director of the Center for the History of Medicine, University of Michigan How can we understand the COVID-19 pandemic? Ever since the 1918 Spanish influenza pandemic, scientists have dreamed of preventing such catastrophic outbreaks of infectious disease. Yet despite a century of medical progress, viral and bacterial disasters continue to take us by surprise, inciting panic and dominating news cycles. In The Pandemic Century, a lively account of scares both infamous and less known, medical historian Mark Honigsbaum combines reportage with the history of science and medical sociology to artfully reconstruct epidemiological mysteries and the ecology of infectious diseases. We meet dedicated disease detectives, obstructive or incompetent public health officials, and brilliant scientists often blinded by their own knowledge of bacteria and viruses—and see how fear of disease often exacerbates racial, religious, and ethnic tensions. Now updated with a new chapter and epilogue.

God and the Pandemic, A Judaic Reflection on the Coronavirus by Michael Leo Samuel Pdf

Pandemics have existed from time immemorial. Seemingly few, however, have had the maturity and wisdom to navigate these destructive forces intelligently and successfully. Rabbi Samuel wisely opens his lens widely to give us a valuable historical panorama of the history of plagues and pandemics. Samuel skillfully examines and critiques various responses to pandemics. He exposes the inadequacies and fallacies of simplistic explanations. His work is deep and wide showing what ancients, medievalists and moderns have written on this troubling topic. Penned as a Judaic guide to understanding and coping with this current Covid-19 crisis, Samuel's words are also highly relevant to Christians and those of other religious traditions seeking knowledge for these difficult times.Rabbi Samuel's work is keenly attuned to Scripture, tradition, history, psychology, social science and pastoral concerns. Seeking to make sense of a worldwide disaster is no mean task. But this sage scholar presents a richness and variety of perspectives that will inform the thinker and inspire the one in need of encouragement by putting the pandemic in temporal and eternal perspective. By exposing various myths, the rabbi's well-chosen and balanced words will provide comfort in the storm and sensible help to all people seeking to cope and to remain people of hope.In characteristic rabbinic style, Samuel's work is filled with striking stories, vivid illustrations and practical guidance in helping to shepherd others through the complexities and challenges of this pandemic crisis. I am a fan of Rabbi Michael Leo Samuel because in this book, as in his many previous publications, he displays the unusual ability to bring theology, science, psychology, health and medical dimensions of real life struggles right down to earth. In short, he knows how to "put the cookies on a shelf" that all readers can grasp and digest. God and the Pandemic is a balanced, mature work by a veteran scholar that embraces a world and life view that will remain relevant, sensible and sane reading long after this present pandemic subsides. I highly recommend this book.Marvin R.
