Damned by Society but Destined for Greatness by Deione Hill Pdf

Jeremiah 1:5 In this passage it states, Before I formed you in the womb in knew and approved of you as my chosen instrument, and before you were born I separated and set you apart, consecrating you, and I appointed you as a prophet to the nations. Also as you read this book, keep in mind Jeremiah 29:11 which states, for I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. This is the story of my life, with my hopes and dreams as a guide for you to follow as you climb the ladder of success in your life. My main focus and hope is the ability to help women both young and mature with the many trials and tribulations in life, whether it has been through adoption, foster care, low self-esteem, maybe suicidal thoughts. The struggles could include divorce, or broken relationships, or unemployment. If any of these things have caused heartache and pain throughout your life, I’m here to let you know there are answers and options, things don’t have to continue this way. Dealing with an unsuccessful journey myself; one that had not allowed me to ever complete anything, I found hope in the nay-sayer’s, they gave me motivation to never give up, it’s not a cliché, you can achieve greatness. No matter how things may appear they are never as bad as they seem. With God’s help the impossible can be accomplished. Greatness is achieved by applying one principle; you push toward the things that allow God to work in your life. And you do that by giving him the steering wheel and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you.

Horror and Religion by Eleanor Beal,Jon Greenaway Pdf

Horror and Religion is an edited collection of essays offering structured discussions of spiritual and theological conflicts in Horror fiction from the late-sixteenth to the twenty-first century. Contributors explore the various ways that horror and religion have interacted over themes of race and sexuality; the texts under discussion chart the way in which the religious imagination has been deployed over the course of Horror fiction’s development, from a Gothic mode based in theological polemics to a more distinct genre in the twenty-first century that explores the afterlife of religion. Horror and Religion focuses on the Horror genre and its characteristics of the body, sexuality, trauma and race, and the essays explore how Horror fiction has shifted emphasis from anti-Catholicism and anti-Semitism to incorporate less understood historical and theological issues, such as the ‘Death of God’ and the spiritual destabilisation of the secular. By confronting spiritual conflicts in Horror fiction, this volume offers new perspectives on what we traditionally perceive as horrifying.

Love Wins by Rob Bell Pdf

Millions of Christians have struggled with how to reconcile God's love and God's judgment: Has God created billions of people over thousands of years only to select a few to go to heaven and everyone else to suffer forever in hell? Is this acceptable to God? How is this "good news"? Troubling questions—so troubling that many have lost their faith because of them. Others only whisper the questions to themselves, fearing or being taught that they might lose their faith and their church if they ask them out loud. But what if these questions trouble us for good reason? What if the story of heaven and hell we have been taught is not, in fact, what the Bible teaches? What if what Jesus meant by heaven, hell, and salvation are very different from how we have come to understand them? What if it is God who wants us to face these questions? Author, pastor, and innovative teacher Rob Bell presents a deeply biblical vision for rediscovering a richer, grander, truer, and more spiritually satisfying way of understanding heaven, hell, God, Jesus, salvation, and repentance. The result is the discovery that the "good news" is much, much better than we ever imagined. Love wins.

In this fast-paced thriller, a young entrepreneur faces moral dilemmas in Silicon Valley, a place where the inner working of the legal system favors the aggressor.

Anthem by Ayn Rand Pdf

My happiness is not the means to any end. It is the end. It is its own goal. It is its own purpose. Anthem is a dystopian fiction novella by Ayn Rand, written in 1937 and a clear predecessor to her later masterpieces. The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. In Anthem, Rand examines a frightening future in which individuals have no name, no independence, and no values. Equality 7-2521 lives in the dark ages of the future where all decisions are made by committee, all people live in collectives, and all traces of individualism have been wiped out. Despite such a restrictive environment, the spark of individual thought and freedom still burns in him--a passion which he has been taught to call sinful. In a purely egalitarian world, Equality 7-2521 dares to stand apart from the herd--to think and choose for himself, to discover electricity, and to love the woman of his choice. Now he has been marked for death for committing the ultimate sin. In a world where the great "we" reign supreme, he has rediscovered the lost and holy word--"I."
