Declaration of Independence of the People of God by Richard Lane Pdf

In a time when the people are separated by theology, philosophy, divisions, and schisms of different doctrines, tongues, interpretations, and religions, which is the right one and which is the wrong one? How do they know their going the right way and how do they know they are not themselves being deceived? When it is easier to lead others astray than to preach and teach the Gospel, it becomes harder to convince the people of uncorrupt, unwatered-down, unsugarcoated Scripture truth as it is written, "there will be a time when sound doctrine will not be tolerated (2 Tim. 4:3)." For far too long have we become engrossed in what other people say is or is not the truth. For far too long have people become in bondage with specific beliefs and religious systems that are doomed to fail, fall, and falter. Unfortunately, just as God had to be patient for the wickedness of Lucifer to be fully revealed and evidence seen before God could expel Satan to the earth, God had to let the works of Satan in the guise of religions to be fully manifested for it to be realized exactly what he has done. Many see the puzzle pieces (as it is shown in this book), but only a few see the big picture. Take it out of the frame and it falls apart. Just as it is written, a kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. Judgment has sat; therefore, it has hereby officially fallen into pieces. Many ministers, prophets, and others have spoken of and prophesied of a change that God is bringing to the church worldwide, and that something big by God is coming. Many wished to see it during their time, and many hoped to see it during their life. That time has now come, and it has already begun. Here is the sentence of God: The kingdom, the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom of God on earth is taken away from the little king in the physical and from Satan in the spiritual and is given to the people of the Most High, the only Holy Father Yehovah and Yeshua the High Priest, the Head of the whole Church of the Living God worldwide. I Shall Live by Faith by Ren E. J. an,RenéE JéAn Pdf

The Declaration of Independence was drafted by Thomas Jefferson and adopted by Congress in 1776, declaring the independence of the United States of America, "that all men are created equal [and] that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights." As a nation, we celebrate this independence annually on July 4th. The Declaration of His-dependence(TM) was drafted by Renée Jéan and adopted by the Lord Jesus Christ for worldwide distribution, declaring our dependence on the King of kings and Lord of lords--that all are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image and that we are endowed by the Holy Ghost with specific, unassailable power! Thus, as the people of God, we celebrate our dependence on the mighty God, both now and forevermore. The definition of the noun His-de-pend-ence is complete assurance, confidence, and faith in God. The noun's origin is from the Alpha and Omega, applicable in all languages and nations, for He is equivalent to none. Romans 1:17 confirms, "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith." I Shall Live by Faith teaches us how to completely trust and depend on God, His promises, and His mandate over our lives. This book empowers readers to grow in their faith, decree and declare specific biblical entitlements, and accomplish what we speak by the authority of the Holy Ghost--by faith! This Book helps readers put into practice the principles of Faith established in the Word of God.

Nature's God: The Heretical Origins of the American Republic by Matthew Stewart Pdf

Longlisted for the National Book Award. Where did the ideas come from that became the cornerstone of American democracy? America’s founders intended to liberate us not just from one king but from the ghostly tyranny of supernatural religion. Drawing deeply on the study of European philosophy, Matthew Stewart brilliantly tracks the ancient, pagan, and continental ideas from which America’s revolutionaries drew their inspiration. In the writings of Spinoza, Lucretius, and other great philosophers, Stewart recovers the true meanings of “Nature’s God,” “the pursuit of happiness,” and the radical political theory with which the American experiment in self-government began.

The Declaration of Independence and God by Owen Anderson Pdf

'Self-evident truths' was a profound concept used by the drafters of the American Declaration of Independence to insist on their rights and freedom from oppressive government. How did this Enlightenment notion of self-evident human rights come to be used in this historic document and what is its true meaning? In The Declaration of Independence and God, Owen Anderson traces the concept of a self-evident creator through America's legal history. Starting from the Declaration of Independence, Anderson considers both challenges to belief in God from thinkers like Thomas Paine and American Darwinists, as well as modifications to the concept of God by theologians like Charles Finney and Paul Tillich. Combining history, philosophy and law in a unique focus, this book opens exciting new avenues for the study of America's legal history.

One Nation Under God: A Factual History of America's Religious Heritage by Leon G. Stevens Pdf

p> One Nation under God: the Factual History of America's Religious Heritage is a study of our Founding Fathers-their beliefs, their goals and their history. It uses the direct words of the Founding Fathers from personal letters, personal Bible notes, and many more substantiated sources. The book follows the spiritual direction of our country from the time the Puritans landed in the new world up to today. Our loss of faith in God and how that loss has impacted our society is profiled. It includes quotes from some of the people that had the most influence on the growth of our once great nation and some of the people and events that have caused our nation to decline economically, socially, and morally. One Nation under God includes many landmark court cases that have affected our way of life in the way the American people can worship the Lord in public and in private. The book is a map of our rise to greatness and our decline to the potential oblivion of this once light on the hill for all the world to follow. It also is a guide on how to reclaim our greatness by turning back to God for His forgiveness and guidance. The farther away we move from God the worse our society becomes. I started writing One Nation under God setting out to prove to the country-possibly the world-that we are a Christian nation. ... One Nation Under God helps us remember who we are and what we did and thus helps preserve the American spirit. -David Barton, Historian, Author, TV Producer, founder of Wallbuilders

Our Declaration: A Reading of the Declaration of Independence in Defense of Equality by Danielle Allen Pdf

Winner of the Francis Parkman Prize, Society of American Historians “A tour de force. . . . No one has ever written a book on the Declaration quite like this one.”—Gordon Wood, New York Review of Books Featured on the front page of the New York Times, Our Declaration is already regarded as a seminal work that reinterprets the promise of American democracy through our founding text. Combining a personal account of teaching the Declaration with a vivid evocation of the colonial world between 1774 and 1777, Allen, a political philosopher renowned for her work on justice and citizenship reveals our nation’s founding text to be an animating force that not only changed the world more than two-hundred years ago, but also still can. Challenging conventional wisdom, she boldly makes the case that the Declaration is a document as much about political equality as about individual liberty. Beautifully illustrated throughout, Our Declaration is an “uncommonly elegant, incisive, and often poetic primer on America’s cardinal text” (David M. Kennedy).

The Rights of the People by Alonzo Trévier Jones Pdf

This work, first printed in 1895, showed the relationship that should exist between the church and the state at the present time, as proved by Holy Writ and the historical evidence of twenty-five centuries. About the Author Alonzo T Jones (1850-1923) heard the Adventist message while serving in the United States Army in the State of Washington. He began at once to study history as it related to prophecy, a theme of much of his writing of articles and books. This study also prepared him for his activity on the subject of religious liberty. He participated in the hearings of the Blair Sunday bill in 1889 and became editor of "The American Sentinel." Elder Jones was a powerful speaker and one of the strong voices in the revival of 1888 within the Adventist denomination. For a short time he was a Bible teacher at Healdsburg College. From 1897-1901 he was the editor of the Review and Herald, and he served on the staff of the Signs of the Times. The Declaration of Independence by Carl Lotus Becker Pdf

In this long essay Becker analyzed the structure, drafting, and philosophy of the Declaration. He recognizes that it was not intended as an objective historical statement of the causes of the Revolution, but merely furnished a moral and legal justification for rebellion. Step by step, the colonists modified their theory to suit their needs. Whenever men become sufficiently dissatisfied with the existing regime of positive law and custom, they will be found reaching out beyond it for the rational basis of what they conceive ought to be. This is what the Americans did in their controversy with Great Britain.

The American Creed by Forrest Church Pdf

What makes us all Americans--whatever our differences--is adherence to a creed, a creed based upon cornerstone truths the founders believed "self-evident." From the earliest days, the survival of the new republic hinged not merely upon the expression of these grand principles of liberty and equality but upon their spiritual underpinnings. Freedom and faith were intertwined. America, as a foreign observer once put it, is a nation with the soul of a church. In this stirring and timely book, Forrest Church charts the progress of this creed from the America's beginnings to the present day by evoking those whose words-whether in declarations, songs, inaugural addresses, speeches, or prayers-have expressed its letter and captured its spirit. What emerges is our shared destiny. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream that this country might someday "rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed," echoes Thomas Jefferson's belief that "equal and exact justice to all" is the "creed of our political faith." Our connection with the past represents our commitment to the future and vice versa. A "spiritual and patriotic primer," The American Creed distills the essence of American history while also matching its sweep. Church lets the story of the Declaration of Independence unfold before our eyes, giving us both the big picture and the details that place it into brilliant focus. Those steeped in our nation's heritage will find fresh insight and renewed purpose. Those still discovering its riches could have no finer introduction. In its scope and embrace, this is a book for us all.

Speak Lord by Kandice Fleming-Ginger Pdf

Born to extremely young parents on August 9, 1963. raised by my mothers mother a God-fearing woman, Mother Jimmie Ann Lewis who surely deserves honorable mention and more. I have always been an avid reader and I have always put my thoughts on paper. I believe it began while in Junior High I wrote poetry and short stories. I even entered a few contests; not much ever became of that. But what I would really like you to know is when youre young you make a lot of mistakes...my husband and I worked hard at getting our credit together so we could purchase a home and just so happens that we chose a realtor who was a scheista and then we purchased a house in the middle of the ghetto; imagine that. Well, needless to say they were selling drugs out the back door and shootin each other out the front door. I am a native of Pennsylvania but several months before my 38th birthday I pondered my circumstances and realized I had been in Harrisburg all my life and it was high time for me to leave. After I had this epiphany I was determined not to celebrate 38 years in my hometown. Hence, we loaded up the truck and we moved to Beverly, no we actually moved to St. Louis, MO; to the place of my husbands birth (he wanted to be closer to his family). After only 18 months there we decided to move one more time and we are now transplants to Arizona. Lets go back, I forgot to tell you that all the while the shooting and the drug dealing was going I was petitioning heaven and this was my prayer...Lord, please increase my quality of living. Dont know exactly what I expected but after leaving the city of St. Louis where someone would go joyriding in our cars every other night, arriving in AZ and paying six hundred and some odd dollars a month for a two bedroom in a complex that had a pool I was sure God had responded. Weve been in Arizona for 7 years and weve been blessed to purchase a 4,000sf home, we have natural children, adopted children and foster children and God has done exceeding abundantly more than I asked. Not only that I picked up my pen again and O the things that God has to say! Who knew?

The Skeletons in God's Closet by Joshua Ryan Butler Pdf

How can a loving God send people to hell? Isn’t it arrogant to believe Jesus is the only way to God? What is up with holy war in the Old Testament? Many of us fear God has some skeletons in the closet. Hell, judgment, and holy war are hot topics for the Christian faith that have a way of igniting fierce debate far and wide. These hard questions leave many wondering whether God is really good and can truly be trusted. The Skeletons in God's Closet confronts our popular caricatures of these difficult topics with the beauty and power of the real thing. Josh Butler reveals that these subjects are consistent with, rather than contradictory to, the goodness of God. He explores Scripture to reveal the plotlines that make sense of these tough topics in light of God’s goodness. From fresh angles, Josh deals powerfully with such difficult passages as: The Lake of Fire Lazarus and the Rich Man The Slaughter of Canaanites in the Old Testament Ultimately, The Skeletons in God's Close uses our toughest questions to provoke paradigm shifts in how we understand our faith as a whole. It pulls the “skeletons out of God’s closet” to reveal they were never really skeletons at all.

Constitutional Moments by Anonim Pdf

“Constitution” is a rich term in Western political culture, encompassing political and juridical doctrine as well as government practices through the ages. This volume examines “constitutional moments” in history, those occasions or episodes when significant steps were taken in the definition or redefinition of polities. Their actors were writers or politicians, rulers or ruled, who found inspiration in a distant past or instead looked towards a future to be drawn anew. This book sheds light on such moments from Ancient Greece to the present day, mostly in Europe but also in the Ottoman world and the Americas, thereby uncovering a revealing variety of constitutional thinking and action throughout history.
