Time. An additional Sign or means a month or a few months more or less. And (grad), graduated, shows that a certificate of a completed course was given. A dash without a figure marksa residence Of only a few weeks or days. When these signs are preceded or followed by the name of a theological school, it denotes that the student was received from another institution of the same kind, Or dismissed to join one. In a name a letter without a period is a letter merely, and not an initial. The'name Of a place without a designation Of service or condition indicates either a residence there or lack of knowledge as to the occupation or ministerial status of. The alumnus. A denomination or a state once given is understood to continue till another takes its place. A dash and period at the end Of a record shows that the person is still in the ser vice previously denoted. Thus, Wood, Me., '67 tells that the minister is still pastor of that church.
