Halloween, Hallowed Is Thy Name by Eddie J. Smith Pdf

Halloween has been referred to as the Devil's holiday, but all 365 1/4 days were created by and belong to Jesus. If Satan usurps even one day it is our Christian duty and responsibility to reclaim and redeem it in the name of our Lord. Are the imaginary ghouls and goblins of Halloween any more wicked than the jolly elf called Santa Claus, or the Easter bunny? Should the Church stop celebrating these holy days, the bookends of our faith, as well? Instead of battling the spiritual enemy on Halloween, the Church is guilty of crossing swords with one another. We fight among ourselves, not about "how" to celebrate Halloween, but whether it should even be observed. Jesus is more the "reason for the season" on Halloween than He is at Christmas. The Church must realize it is forfeiting Halloween as an opportunity to glorify the Prince of Peace, the One who has given us the victory over the "prince of darkness" and his evil minions. The Way, the Truth and the Life has conquered Death and the grave. By dressing up in costumes and portraying frightening creatures who at one time caused us to fear and tremble, we are not glorifying Satan. Rather, we are poking fun at the Serpent whose kingdom has been plundered by our Savior, and whose head has been crushed! Should we celebrate Halloween? The question is, "How can we not?" Halloween, Hallowed is Thy Name offers a believer confidence and joy in expressing the greeting "Happy Halloween."

The Experiment at Philadelphia by Kurt B. Bakley Pdf

The Experiment at Philadelphia Did Einstein discover God? If God created all things, then who Created God? What Was and Happened Before the Big-Bang. The Philadelphia Experiment was Einsteins experiment in which he had not only discovered, in 1943, the way to make things invisible and transport them at great speeds but also positively proven scientifically, physically, and spiritually that the Almighty God exists! He had literally discovered God! That question, is there a god? Thats been going through peoples minds for so long, was discussed on the street corner, talked about on the porch on a hot summers night, and is now a proven fact. Yes, there is a god! Did Einstein in the Philadelphia Experiment make contact with UFO beings, who gave him advance knowledge of all things, which Einstein later destroyed, fearing what the world would do with that knowledge? Are the first fourteen chapters of this book about the advance knowledge Einstein received? Does it reveal the deepest, darkest secrets of God and Satan and how the universe works? Does it answer these questions? Many have asked since the beginning of the world: Which is known as the mystery of God? Why am I here? Whats the true meaning of life? How was everything created? Who are God and the devil? If God created all, who created God? If he is the first in creation, where and how did he come into existence? Why does God allow evil in the world? Why do good things happen to bad people and bad things to good people? Whyif we all came from Adam and Eve, who were Jewishare there Gentiles? Are Gentiles children of devils? Is that why the Jews are Gods chosen race? Why in the Garden of Eden was the knowledge of good on the tree forbidden? How old is the earth? Why is God known as the Trinity? Why have religions, down through the ages, done such evil? What, when, and how did the big bang start? What happened to Satan? Who is he really, and what did he do in the past? What are his beliefs and ways? What is he and God literally made of? What is the meaning of the great pyramids and the sphinx? Is there scientific proof that God exists? Read this whole book for the answers to all these tough questions, and be sure to read the introduction first before reading the rest of this book. It will help you better understand this whole book.

Standardized Work with TWI by Bartosz Misiurek Pdf

Standardized Work with TWI: Eliminating Human Errors in Production and Service Processes presents the Training within Industry (TWI) program and describes how it can influence and alter one’s understanding of work standardization. Work standardization is the key to eliminating human errors from manufacturing and service processes. Work standardization is not just the creation of job instructions—it is a comprehensive approach in which employees are formally trained and their skills in the area of work improvement are developed by kaizen sessions. With poor instructions, though, the effectiveness of these two key activities in the work standardization process is practically impossible to achieve. The book introduces you to 41 rules for standard work instruction (SWI) preparation. Following these rules will ensure that the instructions in your company are ideally suited to train operators and improve work. The author developed these rules based on his professional experience and practice within the TWI program in more than 120 manufacturing and service enterprises, while creating thousands of SWIs. These rules are a clear set of signposts that will help you develop a correct SWI on the first attempt without any unnecessary correction of errors. The quality of SWIs significantly affects how on-the-job training sessions are run, as well as how work analysis with respect to improvement is conducted.

Our Father Who Aren’t in Heaven by Robert S. Turner Pdf

The Lord's Prayer holds an honored place in the worship and devotional practices of countless Christians around the world. People of every ethnic background, denominational affiliation, and theological leaning pray to "Our Father who art in heaven." But what if there's more to it than we think? Our Father Who Aren't in Heaven takes a decidedly this-worldly approach to the prayer, and seeks to understand what Jesus meant to teach his original disciples--and us--through this radical manifesto of the kingdom of God. In these pages, Robert S. Turner presents a political reading of the prayer and explores how we can encounter through it a God who has left the divine hammock empty and cast God's lot with humanity and the rest of creation. A renewed understanding of the prayer may have the capacity to transform the world. These subversive reflections on the Lord's Prayer may have the capacity to transform the reader as well.

United in Prayer by Peter E. Roussakis Pdf

Christians everywhere are uniquely linked together by a simple prayer which “binds our hearts in Christian love” - the Lord’s Prayer. In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus Christ provided His disciples with meaningful instructions about how to pray. Praying this model prayer with one accord contributes to the binding together of our hearts in God’s love. The Lord’s Prayer is sacred for Christians. Through it, in times of trial as well as ease, we may turn to God for help and support. This book provides a deeper study of this “prayer of prayers,” with an overview of its scriptural context, inclusions and order, and an introduction to the Jewish Setting of the prayer. The book concludes with the theme of Christians being united through learning and praying the Lord’s prayer together.

The Mystery Beyond Human Development by George Farahat Pdf

This book will fascinate the reader as the author shares his own true story since his childbirth in Egypt, his growth, passions, sufferings and hopes and that of many others he knew. The book brings to light the relational character of the cosmos and all life it contains, as a reflection of the Mystery of God who is Love. Based on the historical development of thought and science as well as recent research, the author argues that humanity is destined for the Second Coming of Christ, the Alpha and Omega. Based on the development of civilizations the book illustrates violence, vengeance, greed, passion, fear, security, collaboration, love, and success as examples from history of individuals as well as cultures. The premise of the book is that humans by nature are relational. Since early civilizations, collaboration and reciprocity between tribes led to trade and thus learning developed in many centers. But knowledge is not only intellectual. Knowledge is completed in the love of the other which is pervasive in human thought and relations. The conclusion proposes imitation of love, the love shown in the life and teachings of Christ, even if hard, in order to live eternal life.

The Lord's Prayer by Nijay K. Gupta Pdf

"The Lord's Prayer is the most recited, most memorized, and most studied text in the Bible. This prayer of Jesus, found in two versions in Matthew and Luke, has been extolled for its simplicity and beauty, for its reflection of "real life," and for its vision of the consummated kingdom. It also contains several conundrums: what does it mean to "hallow" the Father's name? What relationship does our forgiveness of others have with God's forgiveness for us? If God does not tempt, why would we pray "Lead us not into temptation"? This commentary not only addresses these important questions but also offers insight into how the global church throughout generations has interacted with the Lord's Prayer and has found in it inspiration and hope."--Dust jacket sleeve.

Let the Communion Commence by Kevin Dean Smith Pdf

Let the Communion Commence: Lighthearted Reflections on the Heart of God for Humanity is a humble effort by a long-time Christian public educator and traveler to use his somewhat unique style and experiences to communicate to his graduating students, and to anyone else who might “come along for the read,” the wonders of a life-consuming relationship with God. Much of the content is also inspired by reflections on the sacrament of Communion, and thus the book may be of interest to a broader audience than just to graduates embarking on the next stage of life. Part one of the book seeks to introduce the Christian faith to those who may be unfamiliar with the Gospel message—that the Author and Creator of the Universe seeks communion, or a personal relationship, with anyone willing to embrace the death, resurrection, and Lordship of Jesus Christ in order to receive salvation from the consequences of disobedience to God. Part two encourages lifelong enrollment in the class of learning to be like Jesus Christ in preparation for becoming citizens of, and for introducing others into, the Kingdom of God. Finally, part three of Let the Communion Commence reflects on the ultimate commencement—the beginning of never-ending life in the presence of our Creator. Class is about to begin. Please join me.
