Hesitant Probabilistic Fuzzy Linguistic Sets with Applications in Multi-Criteria Group Decision Making Problems by Dheeraj Kumar Joshi,Ismat Beg,Sanjay Kumar Pdf
Uncertainties due to randomness and fuzziness comprehensively exist in control and decision support systems.
Covering a wide range of notions concerning hesitant fuzzy set and its extensions, this book provides a comprehensive reference to the topic. In the case where different sources of vagueness appear simultaneously, the concept of fuzzy set is not able to properly model the uncertainty, imprecise and vague information. In order to overcome such a limitation, different types of fuzzy extension have been introduced so far. Among them, hesitant fuzzy set was first introduced in 2010, and the existing extensions of hesitant fuzzy set have been encountering an increasing interest and attracting more and more attentions up to now. It is not an exaggeration to say that the recent decade has seen the blossoming of a larger set of techniques and theoretical outcomes for hesitant fuzzy set together with its extensions as well as applications. As the research has moved beyond its infancy, and now it is entering a maturing phase with increased numbers and types of extensions, this book aims to give a comprehensive review of such researches. Presenting the review of many and important types of hesitant fuzzy extensions, and including references to a large number of related publications, this book will serve as a useful reference book for researchers in this field.
Measures of Probabilistic Neutrosophic Hesitant Fuzzy Sets and the Application in Reducing Unnecessary Evaluation Processes by Songtao Shao ,Xiaohong Zhang Pdf
Distance measure and similarity measure have been applied to various multi-criteria decision-making environments, like talent selections, fault diagnoses and so on. Some improved distance and similarity measures have been proposed by some researchers. However, hesitancy is reflected in all aspects of life, thus the hesitant information needs to be considered in measures. Then, it can effectively avoid the loss of fuzzy information.

Several Intuitionistic Fuzzy Multi-Attribute Decision Making Methods and Their Applications by Zhinan Hao,Zeshui Xu,Hua Zhao Pdf
This book introduces readers to the latest advances in and approaches to intuitionistic fuzzy decision-making methods. To do so, it explores a range of applications to practical decision-making problems, together with representative case studies. Examining a host of decision-making methods, most of which are based on intuitionistic fuzzy aggregation operators, its goal is to offer readers a new way to study decision-making methods in the intuitionistic fuzzy environment. Chiefly intended for practitioners and researchers working in the areas of risk management, decision-making under uncertainty, and operational research, the book can also be used as supplementary material for graduate and senior undergraduate courses in these areas.

Probabilistic Single-Valued (Interval) Neutrosophic Hesitant Fuzzy Set and Its Application in Multi-Attribute Decision Making by Songtao Shao,Xiaohong Zhang,Yu Li,Chunxin Bo Pdf
The uncertainty and concurrence of randomness are considered when many practical problems are dealt with. To describe the aleatory uncertainty and imprecision in a neutrosophic environment and prevent the obliteration of more data, the concept of the probabilistic single-valued (interval) neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set is introduced. By definition, we know that the probabilistic single-valued neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set (PSVNHFS) is a special case of the probabilistic interval neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy set (PINHFS). PSVNHFSs can satisfy all the properties of PINHFSs.
Fuzzy Techniques for Decision Making 2018 by José Carlos R. Alcantud Pdf
Zadeh's fuzzy set theory incorporates the impreciseness of data and evaluations, by imputting the degrees by which each object belongs to a set. Its success fostered theories that codify the subjectivity, uncertainty, imprecision, or roughness of the evaluations. Their rationale is to produce new flexible methodologies in order to model a variety of concrete decision problems more realistically. This Special Issue garners contributions addressing novel tools, techniques and methodologies for decision making (inclusive of both individual and group, single- or multi-criteria decision making) in the context of these theories. It contains 38 research articles that contribute to a variety of setups that combine fuzziness, hesitancy, roughness, covering sets, and linguistic approaches. Their ranges vary from fundamental or technical to applied approaches.
Restoration Methods Selection for Wood Components of Chinese Ancient Architectures Based on TODIM with Single-Valued Neutrosophic Sets by Xiaolu Long,Lizhi Liu,Can Xiao,Pengfei Cheng,Chengxun Fu Pdf
The selection of restoration methods for ancient architectures is of great significance for the protection of human cultural heritage. This paper proposes a novel restoration methods selection approach for wood components of Chinese ancient architectures, in which a multicriteria group decision-making (MCGDM) method with decision-making information is in the form of singlevalued neutrosophic sets (SNNSs). Firstly, it establishes an index system by comprehensively considering subjective and objective criteria. In addition, the best-worst method (BWM) and the entropy weight method are combined to produce index weights. Furthermore, the TODIM method is utilized by the single-valued neutrosophic sets to prioritize restoration methods. Finally, a specific case of wood component restoration is conducted to demonstrate the practicability of the proposed model. ,e robustness and effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by sensitivity analysis and comparison analysis.
Multiple Criteria Decision Making Methods with Multi-polar Fuzzy Information by Muhammad Akram,Arooj Adeel Pdf
This book presents an extension of fuzzy set theory allowing for multi-polar information, discussing its impact on the theoretical and practical development of multi-criteria decision making. It reports on set of hybrid models developed by the authors, and show how they can be adapted, case by case, to the lack of certainty under a variety of criteria. Among them, hybrid models combining m-polar fuzzy sets with rough, soft and 2-tuple linguistic sets, and m-polar hesitant fuzzy sets and hesitant m-polar fuzzy are presented, together with some significant applications. In turn, outranking decision-making techniques such as m-polar fuzzy ELECTRE I, II, III and IV methods, as well as m-polar fuzzy PROMETHEE I and II methods, are developed. The efficiency of these decision-making procedures, as well as other possible extensions studied by the authors, is shown in some real-world applications. Overall, this book offers a guide on methodologies to deal with the multi-polarity and fuzziness of the real-world problems, simultaneously. By including algorithms and computer programming codes, it provides a practice-oriented reference guide to both researchers and professionals working at the interface between computational intelligence and decision making.
