Holding Nothing Back by Tim Hughes Pdf

Worship leader Tim Hughes takes readers behind the lyrics of When Silence Falls in this vibrant look at God’s amazing glory. As Hughes explores God’s greatness and wonder, which is beyond comprehension, readers see His majesty in a whole new way. Through the heart of this musician, we’ll see God’s fingerprints in creation and understand anew that He is unchangeable, almighty, the King of all kings. Then we’ll explore biblical encounters with God, and see how lives were irrevocably changed by His touch. Learn how to find God in the brokenness and pain of a world in chaos, and then take comfort—“God is unchanging. His promises remain. He will always be faithful. He will never fail.” What mystery! What wonder! From mountains that shout for joy to encounters with the divine, Hughes shares the message behind the lyrics that have touched so many.

Diamond in the Rough by Latasha Davis Pdf

Growing up in a military family, I moved around a lot. During elementary school, I never finished the year at the same place. I found myself always struggling in school and always having to meet new friends. I was very shy, timid, and never felt good enough. My family life was the true definition of “dysfunctional.” I am the only child of a recovering alcoholic. My mother worked two jobs and went to college to provide a better life for me. I have seen domestic violence firsthand. To this day, if someone raises their voice to me, I get defensive and feel fear in my chest. All during my life, God has let me know that HE was there for me. I would cry and pray as a child that God would deliver my family, and especially my dad. I can tell you this: HE may not come when you think HE should, but God will come! When I tell you that my father is delivered from alcohol, he is delivered. I speak to my dad every morning and he prays for me daily. I want readers to know that there isn’t anything too hard for God. This resource book will inspire you and build your own faith in God. I know God to be a healer, provider, father, and anything else you need HIM to be. My prayer is that in your deepest times of despair you can turn to this resource as a comfort, knowing that Jesus is in control. Please remember the scripture that “God will never leave you, or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6)

The Endless Practice by Mark Nepo Pdf

As a poet, philosopher, and cancer survivor, Mark Nepo has been breaking a path of spiritual inquiry for more than thirty years. In his new book, the #1 New York Times bestselling author explores how the soul works in the world. Called "one of the finest spiritual guides of our time," this beloved teacher explores what it means to become our truest self through the ongoing and timeless journey of awakening to the dynamic wholeness of life, which is messy and unpredictable. Nepo navigates some of the soul's deepest and most ancient questions, such as: What does it mean to inhabit the world? How do we stay vital and buoyant amid the storms of life? What is the secret to coming alive? Nepo affirms that not only is the soul's journey inevitable, it is essential to our survival. The human journey is how the force of life grows us, and no matter where we go we can't escape this foundational truth: What's in the way is the way. As Nepo writes, "The point of experience is not to escape life but to live it." Featured on Oprah's Super Soul Sunday program, Nepo's Seven Thousand Ways to Listen has inspired millions of people to redefine themselves in the face of life's challenges. Comforting, moving, and spiritually practical, The Endless Practice is filled with universal insights and stories woven with guidance and practice, which will bring the reader closer to living life to the fullest.

The Exquisite Risk by Mark Nepo Pdf

A fresh perspective on the art of being alive and essential insight into how we can minimize what stands between us and an authentic experience of life, in the spirit of works by Deepak Chopra and Ram Dass “Once again, Mark Nepo draws us to the heart of what matters. He illuminates love with the light of his own understanding.”—Marianne Williamson In these fast-paced times, the exquisite risk facing each of us every day is to slow down so that we may experience life rather than simply manage it. In The Exquisite Risk, poet and teacher Mark Nepo encourages readers to become quiet enough and open enough to listen to what truly matters—our own hearts, our loved ones, the wonders of nature—in order to live a life with nothing held back. In rich, lyrical prose, Nepo shares his own spiritual path, including a battle with illness that helped him understand how daring to embrace all that life has to offer can bring us to a deeper appreciation of its meaning and beauty.

Nothing Matters by Ronald Green Pdf

Is nothing everything? As strange as that question looks at first sight, it will definitely make sense after reading NOTHING MATTERS. Provocative and accessible, free of jargon, NOTHING MATTERS shows that there is more to nothing than meets the eye. History, the arts, philosophy, politics, religion, cosmology - all are touched by nothing. Who, for example, could have believed that nothing held back progress for 600 years, all because of mistaken translation, or that nothing is a way to tackle (and answer) the perennial question 'what is art?
