Aviation Project Management by Triant G. Flouris,Dennis Lock Pdf

Combining the considerable respective expertise of Triant Flouris and Dennis Lock, this unique book highlights the ways that successful businesses are managed in the aviation industry through the identification and application of proven project management methods. Theoretical concepts are defined, clarified and shown how they can be valuable to business managers and students of the aviation business sector. Aviation Project Management builds on the successful and popular work of Dennis Lock but is considerably enhanced by applications, examples, illustrations and case examples pertaining to projects exclusively from the aviation industry. Theory in the project management field is already well evolved, so the purpose of this book is not to review that theory but rather to demonstrate how the lessons of theory can be of practical use to aviation students and business managers. It provides a practical guide to those interested in how projects are managed and the common mistakes that aviation project managers should avoid.

PCB Design & Layout For DIY Etching by A B Lawal Pdf

In this tutorial you will learn step by step how to use Ultiboard to route and make a single-layer Printed Circuit Board layout that you can print out on paper. Finally, you will learn with demo videos a very inexpensive DIY method for transferring your layout to a Copper Clad board that you can etch and solder manually. No heat transfer is involved. After reading and completing the simple demo projects in this book, you will learn many features of Ultiboard very fast and very effectively without getting overwhelmed. You will not need to export any files or send gerbers to a PCB manufacturer/fabricator. We will be using the National Instruments' Ultiboard and Multism PCB Design suite, which I found to be the best among several others I have used. Any of the versions 12, 13 and 14 of this suite works perfectly well. There is a link in this book for you to download a hassle-free trial version of the suite that you can use for many days to learn and practice many projects of your own. Merely having the Ultiboard user manual, or referring to its help contents, is far from sufficient in becoming a skillful PCB designer. Therefore, this book is extremely useful for building PCB design skills very fast. First, it will give you a big head start if you have never designed a PCB layout before. Then it will teach you more advanced techniques you need to learn, design and build anything from simple to complex PCB layouts using mostly Ultiboard. Finally, if you have questions or need further help, I urge you to use the support link I provided in the last Chapter of this book. I will get back to you very quickly.

Making Things Talk by Tom Igoe Pdf

Make microcontrollers, PCs, servers, and smartphones talk to each other. Building electronic projects that interact with the physical world is good fun. But when the devices you've built start to talk to each other, things really get interesting. With 33 easy-to-build projects, Making Things Talk shows you how to get your gadgets to communicate with you and your environment. It’s perfect for people with little technical training but a lot of interest. Maybe you're a science teacher who wants to show students how to monitor the weather in several locations at once. Or a sculptor looking to stage a room of choreographed mechanical sculptures. In this expanded edition, you’ll learn how to form networks of smart devices that share data and respond to commands. Call your home thermostat with a smartphone and change the temperature. Create your own game controllers that communicate over a network. Use ZigBee, Bluetooth, Infrared, and plain old radio to transmit sensor data wirelessly. Work with Arduino 1.0, Processing, and PHP—three easy-to-use, open source environments.
