Calculus by James Stewart Pdf

This book looks at calculus. Calculus is fundamentally different from the mathematics that you have studied previously. Calculus is less static and more dynamic. It is concerned with change and motion ; it deals with quantities that approach other quantities.

Advanced Calculus by Lynn Harold Loomis,Shlomo Sternberg Pdf

An authorised reissue of the long out of print classic textbook, Advanced Calculus by the late Dr Lynn Loomis and Dr Shlomo Sternberg both of Harvard University has been a revered but hard to find textbook for the advanced calculus course for decades. This book is based on an honors course in advanced calculus that the authors gave in the 1960's. The foundational material, presented in the unstarred sections of Chapters 1 through 11, was normally covered, but different applications of this basic material were stressed from year to year, and the book therefore contains more material than was covered in any one year. It can accordingly be used (with omissions) as a text for a year's course in advanced calculus, or as a text for a three-semester introduction to analysis. The prerequisites are a good grounding in the calculus of one variable from a mathematically rigorous point of view, together with some acquaintance with linear algebra. The reader should be familiar with limit and continuity type arguments and have a certain amount of mathematical sophistication. As possible introductory texts, we mention Differential and Integral Calculus by R Courant, Calculus by T Apostol, Calculus by M Spivak, and Pure Mathematics by G Hardy. The reader should also have some experience with partial derivatives. In overall plan the book divides roughly into a first half which develops the calculus (principally the differential calculus) in the setting of normed vector spaces, and a second half which deals with the calculus of differentiable manifolds.

Deep Learning for Radar and Communications Automatic Target Recognition by Uttam K. Majumder,Erik P. Blasch,David A. Garren Pdf

This authoritative resource presents a comprehensive illustration of modern Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) technology for radio frequency (RF) data exploitation. It identifies technical challenges, benefits, and directions of deep learning (DL) based object classification using radar data, including synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and high range resolution (HRR) radar. The performance of AI/ML algorithms is provided from an overview of machine learning (ML) theory that includes history, background primer, and examples. Radar data issues of collection, application, and examples for SAR/HRR data and communication signals analysis are discussed. In addition, this book presents practical considerations of deploying such techniques, including performance evaluation, energy-efficient computing, and the future unresolved issues.

Single Variable Differential and Integral Calculus by Elimhan Mahmudov Pdf

The book “Single variable Differential and Integral Calculus” is an interesting text book for students of mathematics and physics programs, and a reference book for graduate students in any engineering field. This book is unique in the field of mathematical analysis in content and in style. It aims to define, compare and discuss topics in single variable differential and integral calculus, as well as giving application examples in important business fields. Some elementary concepts such as the power of a set, cardinality, measure theory, measurable functions are introduced. It also covers real and complex numbers, vector spaces, topological properties of sets, series and sequences of functions (including complex-valued functions and functions of a complex variable), polynomials and interpolation and extrema of functions. Although analysis is based on the single variable models and applications, theorems and examples are all set to be converted to multi variable extensions. For example, Newton, Riemann, Stieltjes and Lebesque integrals are studied together and compared.

The ABC's of Calculus by Angelo B. Mingarelli Pdf

The ABCs of Calculus guides students in their quest towards understanding Calculus, and ultimately towards solving a variety of Calculus problems. Understanding that diversity of students in the Calculus classroom, the material in the text is presented through verbal, theoretical, practical, numerical and geometrical approaches, in order to satisfy varying learning styles. The text provides a much valued review of basic material while working towards a goal that includes the fostering of a feeling for what Calculus is, what it does, and how you can correctly solve the problems it generates. With many completely solved examples, and hundreds of opportunities to apply concepts through problems, students will quickly build their confidence, and ultimately succeed in Calculus.

Elementary Complex Analysis by Taha Sochi Pdf

This book is about complex analysis which is a vital and fascinating branch of mathematics that has many applications in pure and applied mathematics as well as science and engineering. The book is basically a collection of solved problems with a rather modest theoretical background presented in the main text and hence it is largely based on the method of "learning by example and practice". The book can be used as a text or as a reference for an introductory course on this subject as part of an undergraduate curriculum in physics or engineering or applied mathematics. The book can also be used as a source of supplementary pedagogical materials used in tutorial sessions associated with such a course.
