I Lost my Heart in God - Volume 1 by Zahid Khan Pdf

God says: “The 21st century belongs to the one-world-family centred on me, its Creator. My prophecy of a new heaven and a new earth was written down in the books of many religions. I, God, revealed to the author that the new heaven represents the realization of my will. Once this happens, I will be a visible God for mankind. When the prophecy talks about a 'New Earth', it stands for the time when the earth will be populated with my loved ones who truly belong to me, their Creator. Therefore, it is now time to establish my Kingdom, the Kingdom of God, wherein all people, every one of them, have a living relationship with me.” This was spoken directly to humanity by the Creator of all creations. This book will reveal many secrets about God‘s heart and help each person to grow in the love of God.

The Complete Works of C. H. Spurgeon, Volume 3 by Spurgeon, Charles Pdf

Volume 3 Sermons 107-164 Charles Spurgeon (19 June 1834 – 31 January 1892) is one of the church’s most famous preachers and Christianity’s foremost prolific writers. Called the “Prince of Preachers,” he was one of England's most notable ministers for most of the second half of the nineteenth century, and he still remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations today. His sermons have spread all over the world, and his many printed works have been cherished classics for decades. In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to more than 10 million people, often up to ten times each week. He was the pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel (later the Metropolitan Tabernacle) in London for 38 years. He was an inexhaustible author of various kinds of works including sermons, commentaries, an autobiography, as well as books on prayer, devotionals, magazines, poetry, hymns and more. Spurgeon was known to produce powerful sermons of penetrating thought and divine inspiration, and his oratory and writing skills held his audiences spellbound. Many Christians have discovered Spurgeon's messages to be among the best in Christian literature. Edward Walford wrote in Old and New London: Volume 6 (1878) quoting an article from the Times regarding one of Spurgeon’s meetings at Surrey: “Fancy a congregation consisting of 10,000 souls, streaming into the hall, mounting the galleries, humming, buzzing, and swarming—a mighty hive of bees—eager to secure at first the best places, and, at last, any place at all. After waiting more than half an hour—for if you wish to have a seat you must be there at least that space of time in advance—Mr. Spurgeon ascended his tribune. To the hum, and rush, and trampling of men, succeeded a low, concentrated thrill and murmur of devotion, which seemed to run at once, like an electric current, through the breast of every one present, and by this magnetic chain the preacher held us fast bound for about two hours. It is not my purpose to give a summary of his discourse. It is enough to say of his voice, that its power and volume are sufficient to reach everyone in that vast assembly; of his language, that it is neither high-flown nor homely; of his style, that it is at times familiar, at times declamatory, but always happy, and often eloquent; of his doctrine, that neither the 'Calvinist' nor the 'Baptist' appears in the forefront of the battle which is waged by Mr. Spurgeon with relentless animosity, and with Gospel weapons, against irreligion, cant, hypocrisy, pride, and those secret bosom-sins which so easily beset a man in daily life; and to sum up all in a word, it is enough to say of the man himself, that he impresses you with a perfect conviction of his sincerity.” More than a hundred years after his death, Charles Spurgeon’s legacy continues to effectively inspire the church around the world. For this reason, Delmarva Publications has chosen to republish the complete works of Charles Spurgeon.

The Broadview Anthology of British Literature: Volume 3: The Restoration and the Eighteenth Century - Second Edition by Joseph Black,Leonard Conolly,Kate Flint,Isobel Grundy,Don LePan,Roy Liuzza,Jerome McGann,Anne Lake Prescott,Barry Qualls,Claire Waters Pdf

In all six of its volumes The Broadview Anthology of British Literature presents British literature in a truly distinctive light. Fully grounded in sound literary and historical scholarship, the anthology takes a fresh approach to many canonical authors, and includes a wide selection of work by lesser-known writers. The anthology also provides wide-ranging coverage of the worldwide connections of British literature, and it pays attention throughout to issues of race, gender, class, and sexual orientation. It includes comprehensive introductions to each period, providing in each case an overview of the historical and cultural as well as the literary background. It features accessible and engaging headnotes for all authors, extensive explanatory annotations, and an unparalleled number of illustrations and contextual materials. Innovative, authoritative and comprehensive, The Broadview Anthology of British Literature has established itself as a leader in the field. The full anthology comprises six bound volumes, together with an extensive website component; the latter has been edited, annotated, and designed according to the same high standards as the bound book component of the anthology, and is accessible by using the passcode obtained with the purchase of one or more of the bound volumes. For the second edition of this volume a considerable number of changes have been made. Henry Fielding’s Tragedy of Tragedies has been added, as has a new section of material from eighteenth-century periodicals. A new Contexts section entitled “Transatlantic Currents” includes writings by such figures as Paine, Franklin, and Price, as well as material on the slave trade. The Contexts sections on “Town and Country” and on “Mind and God, Faith and Science” have also been expanded; a variety of writings on the Royal Society and other scientific matters have been added to the latter. Additional chapters from Equiano’s Interesting Narrative have been added, and there are new selections by Samuel Johnson (including his “Letter to Lord Chesterfield” and facsimile pages from the Dictionary). Book 3 from Gulliver’s Travels has been added; that work now appears in its entirety. There are also additional selections by Pope, Pepys, and Astell. The Castle of Otranto and The Witlings have been moved from the bound book to the website component of the anthology. (Both are available as volumes in the Broadview Editions series, and may be added at a very modest additional cost in a shrink-wrapped combination package.)

God Is Salvation for a Lost World Vol. 3 by Farley Dunn Pdf

What hat do we wear? The final essay in this third volume deals with all the things we do that make us who we are. Being a Christian is only one facet of our lives. We are also children, parents, office workers, and business owners. How do we put all those together? That's what this book is about. As you turn the pages, you will be exposed to "life after life." In other words, you will learn how we live in Jesus after we come to the cross. It's ironic in a way. We receive life when we are born, we are given new life when we kneel at the cross, and yet, although already twice born, we then need to learn to live our lives after the example of Christ. We cannot afford to fail. God is our salvation in this lost world, and only his protecting hand can help us reach our goal, which is to sit at his side in the great by and by. God used these essays to speak to me even as I wrote them. My prayer is that he uses them to speak to you as you read them. God does that, you know. He speaks to us. When our hearts are moved by the words of another, we have heard from the heart of God.

Oral Poetry and Narratives from Central Arabia, Volume 3 Bedouin Poets of the Dawāsir Tribe by Marcel Kurpershoek Pdf

This third volume in the author's series Oral Poetry & Narratives from Central Arabia presents and analyses the work of four contemporary Bedouin poets of the Dawāsir tribe in southern Najd. The introductory part discusses the poetry within the context of the Najdi oral tradition, the poets' role in tribal society, and their mirroring of this society's self-image against the background of its rapid economic, social and political transformation, and its relation with the Saudi State. It is followed by the Arabic Text of the poems in transcription, based on taped records, with the English translation on the facing page. This is complemented by a substantial glossary, cross-referenced to the Arabic Text, other glossaries and works on the Najdi dialect and poetic idiom, as well as corresponding Classical Arabic lexical materials.
