Lord, Make Me Into an Altar by David Robinson Jr. Pdf

This book is a series of thoughts the Holy Spirit inspired the author to write while serving in Iraq. These spiritually uplifting thoughts bring us closer to becoming an altar for God. This book reminds us of the importance of being stable while living a spiritually consistent life. Being an altar for God enables us to communicate the holiness of God to a generation in need. It makes us more than people who attend church; it makes us people who bring church to our neighborhoods, jobs, and homes. We are answers to the prayers of generations before us. Now it's our time to be vessels God can use to reach and draw people to Himself. David Robinson Jr. is a family man who is in love with God and simply wants to please Him. David has a unique ability to hear the voice of God, compassionately ministering to the poor and those whom society has rejected. He and his family get great joy from providing needed supplies to the less fortunate. While serving in the military, David stood his watch not only physically but spiritually as well. He ministered the Word of God onboard US Navy ships at sea and on land while deployed in Iraq. His teaching has directly impacted thousands of souls as he has built bridges and crossed cultural boundaries, empowering sailors, soldiers, airmen, marines, and civilians with hope and trust in our Lord Jesus.

Rebuilding the Altar by Pat Schatzline,Karen Schatzline Pdf

The Holy Spirit has become a stranger. Many long for a closer walk with God, but He seems far away. They go to church. They read the Bible. But they don't experience His presence. Why? Because many have forsaken the altar--the place where God is found. When we truly encounter Him again, the light and power of God will flow to our homes, then to our houses of worship, then to the nation, and we will never be the same. In Rebuilding the Altar authors Pat and Karen Schatzline passionately challenge you to return to the altar. You see, the altar is not just a physical location or an instrument in a church or synagogue. Through Christ we can experience a daily encounter with Jesus, who became our altar. We must declare this truth to the deceived. We must raise a standard of holiness and no compromise. We must bring hope to the hurting. It's time for change. It's time to return to the altar...and encounter God.

Building an Altar of Sacrifice by Francis Elijah Ndunagum Pdf

We all have dreams, talents, gifts and destinies to fulfill. Many times we live unfulfilled dreams because we have not yet ignited nor maintained the fire on our personal altar. Having repeatedly seen this sad occurrence, I was burdened to study the bible with a burning desire to find out why this happens even after the Lord may have given a sure word of prophecy to His children. I diligently read the bible to find out solutions which we can apply to our lives to curb the tendency where an alarmingly high number of people never get to fulfill their destinies. One of the biggest strategies the devil uses to destroy a believer’s life is to ensure the fire on their personal altar dies down. One needs to know that the sole purpose of building an altar of sacrifice in God’s kingdom is not to offer up animal sacrifice but rather to have a quiet place of one-to-one communication with God. It is here that a believer can ask forgiveness of sins, a factor which separates man from God and thereafter proceed to worship Him. Building an altar of sacrifice means you having a sacred or consecrated place of worship and adoration with God Almighty. It is sad to know some believers do not have a personal altar of sacrifice. On the other hand, quite a number of those who have do not take time to keep the fire burning on their altar. Every believer needs to have their private altar of sacrifice and ensure that it is kept burning day and night throughout their lifetime. The specified and acceptable sacrifice to be offered in your altar to God is the sacrifice of a burnt-offering of ADORATION and INCENSE of PRAISE. As the altar of incense burns every morning and evening, so is God expecting your prayers and praises to be raised every time from your altar. If the fire in your altar of sacrifice goes off, your altar becomes dormant and falls into ruins rendering your guiding angel ineffective while at the same time, giving the Devil the opportunity to mess up your life. It is obvious we do ourselves harm if we do not tend daily to our altars to keep the fire burning.

The Altars Will Alter Your Life Forever by Shirley Nash Pdf

"Today it is Your Turn to Visit the Altar." The purpose of this book is to make you aware of God's standards when we develop a relationship with Him. This book explains the altars that God has established and altars that the devil has set up for the destruction of our lives. The God ordained altars will call forth life while the Baal altars will bring death into your life. John 10:10, The thief (devil) cometh, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: Jesus stated, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The God altars will lead you into a pathway of righteousness and holiness while the Baal altars will lead you down a pathway of sin and desecration. This book will tell you the purposes, motives and directives of each altar. It will show you how to apply the godly principles of each altar to your life, so you may mature in God. It will also give you guidelines to resist the pitfalls of the Baal altars. If you apply these rules to your life, they will transform you forever. Today you have a choice to make at these altars. I hope you will choose the altar, "Life" and not death. I challenge you to seek the true and living, Holy God. It is only He who can change you. Psalm 34:8 states, "O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him."

Altars of Living Sacrifices by Prof. Samuel C. Obi Pdf

The main purpose of Altars of Living Sacrifices is to enlighten, inspire, and encourage its readers to continue to engage more faithfully in the plan of God, which is to plough in His vineyard for which He has called us. Christ said that the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37). The workers are Christians, and this book will help us to understand some key aspects of this calling. This book analyzes some major areas of biblical practices to shed some light on the Christian’s God-intended and success-oriented obligations in life. By design, the title of this book employs one key biblical term (altars) and one key biblical phrase (living sacrifices) to shed light into the author’s intent. Chapter 1 introduces and explores the subject of Old Testament godly altars and sacrifices. Chapter 2 defines the phrase living sacrifice and discusses how and why Christians are described as living sacrifices in the modern age as opposed to animal sacrifices of the Old Testament days. Chapter 3 describes the nature of modern-day spiritual altars of living sacrifices as reflected in our lives as God’s children. It also notes that the symbolic meaning of our modern-day spiritual altars of worship is defined by our trust in God and by our commitment and obedience to Him. Chapter 4 describes how to build your personal spiritual altar so that you can have a closer walk with God. Chapter 5 examines the benefits of serving the Lord as living sacrifices. This section aims to remind and encourage all laborers that there are great and unimaginable benefits and rewards, here on earth and in heaven above, when we serve the Master as living sacrifices. Chapter 6 introduces the reader to how to be born again into the Kingdom of God.

More Altars of Remembrance by Hannah Hofer Pdf

When I asked the Lord what He wanted me to name this book He put strongly in my heart “Altars of Remembrance” to tell all the wonderful ways He guides and protects those who are His. Now with her second book “MORE Altars of Remembrance” it continues with the unbelievable love and faithfulness of this great God. Hannah has started a third book and looks forward to what the Lord will put in that one.

MYSTERY OF ALTARS by ISAIAH MACWEALTH Pdf

As we will see in this book, an altar is a technology for communicating and teleporting between two realms. It is a mystery that is replete all over the scriptures from Genesis to Revelation. Before the Law, the revelation of altars existed, and in the Law, altars existed. We also see altars in the New Testament, and even in the Book of Revelation. The revelation of altars is thus key to spiritual power, and this is why the people of the occult world and the kingdom of Satan do not joke with it. Unfortunately, the church that should be the custodian of the revelation of altars has since lost its principles. Churches now have stages instead of altars. This is sad. In the past, kings and other great leaders revered the church. It was the Queen of Scotland that said, 'I fear the prayers of John Knox more than all the assembled armies of Europe’. Where is the Lord God of Elijah who fought the prophets of Baal after repairing the altar of God? Where is the Lord God of Moses who brought Israel out of Egypt and parted the Red Sea. Where is the God of Joshua who caused time to stand still? As a church and as individuals, if we would see the power of God as of old, we must learn again the principle of altars. We must set our hearts to understand sacrifice, the blood of Jesus, and the power of prayer. We must understand how to set up an altar and learn how to shut and open portals in the realm of the spirit through the technology of altars. We must also learn how to legalize and criminalize altars, and how to furnish our altars with blood. We must not be ignorant of the impact of family altars and the altars through which we are attacked as the Body of Christ. We must align our heart altar with heaven's altar to bring heaven's power to the earth as only the power of God can do the work of God. In this book, I will share with you many deep secrets, many of which will be new to you. I advise you to take time to meditate and research for yourself. The Lord has trusted me with so much revelation for our day, and not only have I taught these, I have seen the results and testimonies abound. This is why in the appendix of this book, I have shared testimonies from some of the people who have practiced the revelation published in this book because the results cannot lie. I pray for you that as you read, you will receive insights by the power of the Holy Ghost. God bless you!

Touching the Altar by Carol M. Bechtel Pdf

What does it mean to be in the presence of God's holiness? How can it affect us whether we seek it out or stumble upon it? Can it truly change our very reality to encounter it? The essayists in this volume explore these questions at the heart of Christian worship, considering the oft-neglected Old Testament as essential to understand our purpose in worship. Following the structure of the Hebrew canon -- beginning with the Pentateuch, moving through to the Psalms, then wisdom literature -- each chapter considers a separate aspect of worship, from theater to the Sabbath to sacred space, offering new inspiration. In the final essay Carol Bechtel "rereads the book of Job through the lens of our human limitations (as opposed to the usual theme of theodicy)," with compelling applications for both life and worship. Each of these essays concludes with two appropriately themed hymns and a "For Further Reading" list. Five of the seven contain sidebars that illustrate and enrich key points. Evocative woodcut artwork by Margaret Adams Parker provides a striking backdrop to the text. Taken together, these essays testify powerfully to the belief that the Old Testament is not only valuable but also essential to "whole" and fully foundational preaching and worship. Written primarily by Old Testament professors, Touching the Altar will make an engaging supplemental text for introductory or elective Old Testament courses and will also go far toward providing deeper worship for any Christian. The Brazen Altar by Isaac Dargan Pdf

In this new and exciting book (Book One of Seven), Isaac B. Dargan provides powerful new insights into the person of Jesus Christ and His body - the church. He accomplishes this through a very detailed study of the Brazen Altar of Sacrifice - the first of six items of furniture contained within the Tabernacle of Moses (from the Old Testament). This book will raise the scriptural understanding of the Christian reader to a whole new level and answer the hard questions that permeate the minds of so many. The author's ability to uncover and explain the deepest and most complex biblical mysteries, with clarity and simplicity, makes this book (and the series as a whole) a must read. This series is very different from other books dealing with the subject of the Tabernacle in two important ways. First of all, these books are very detailed and thorough in study. Whereas other literary works of this sort tend to give only a general overview of the Tabernacle's spiritual significance, since they very briefly deal with the rituals and various items of furniture utilized in its ministry. The second important difference is in the fact that this series utilizes lots of strong scriptural support, eliminating the need to repeatedly search through the Bible. Others often indicate the locations of Scripture text, but leave it up to the reader to verify references themselves. The readily available scriptural supports are also important because most of what is revealed are new insights (which should always be firmly supported). So, readers won't be left to figure thing out themselves, but will be totally captivated as they come to a much more intimate knowledge of who Christ is, of what He has accomplished, and of all that God desires to accomplish in the lives of His saints. This book also doubles as an excellent tool of discipleship as it serves the additional purpose of providing detailed explanations of why various hardships exist, of why and how Christians must faithfully endure through them, and of the end result of doing so. This in turn grants readers with the ability to see the light at the end of the tunnel so that they can gain that much needed strength to press through until the end.

Altar Ego by Craig Groeschel Pdf

You are NOT who you think you are. In fact, according to bestselling author Craig Groeschel in Altar Ego, you need to take your idea of your own identity, lay it down on the altar, and sacrifice it. Give it to God. Offer it up. Why? Because you are who GOD says you are. And until you’ve sacrificed your broken concept of your identity, you won’t become who you are meant to be. When we place our false labels and self-deception on the altar of God’s truth, we discover who we really are as his sons and daughters. Instead of an outward-driven, approval-based ego, we learn to live with an “altar” ego, God’s vision of who we are becoming. Discover how to trade in your broken ego and unleash your altar ego to become a living sacrifice. Once we know our true identity and are growing in our Christ-like character, then we can behave accordingly, with bold behavior, bold prayers, bold words, and bold obedience. Altar Ego reveals who God says you are, and then calls you to live up to it.
