In 2007, I was taken into captivity for crimes against a society not my own. When I woke to my first day of imprisonment, I was a much wiser man. I felt refreshed but ten years older. I woke to a dignified enlightenment that I am certain I was unaware of only a day sooner. I've never met a proud Hoover who has met the system of principles and beliefs in disdain or with total disagreement. My conscience was awakened to the reality that was my own.
