Desde un enfoque participativo, se mantuvieron entrevistas grupales con dinámicas participativas con las comunidades locales de las áreas de influencia petrolera y entrevistas individuales-abiertas con miembros de la sociedad civil, de la industria de hidrocarburos y del gobierno a nivel nacional y sub-nacional.
