Learn to Walk by the Spirit and Stop Walking by the Flesh by Gary Severns Pdf

Flesh VS Spirit You're going to be a slave to the one you choose to obey, either to the flesh unto sin or to the spirit unto righteousness. One leads to death the other leads to life. (Rom. 6:16-23 NASB) Many Christians have no understanding of what it truly means to walk by the spirit. They don't know how to be truly transformed in order to develop a spiritual mind. If we learn to recognize our fleshly nature as compared to our spirit, we can learn to choose more effectively which nature to listen to and which nature to reject! We need to make it a habit of examining what we're looking at, what we're listening to, what we're doing, what we're saying and what we're thinking or imagining to find out what our mine set is. By examining the fruit, you will know if your mind is set on the flesh or the spirit. (Gal.5:19-25) This is a tool you can use for the rest of your life. It will help to sharpen your spiritual focus so you can see more clearly. The more you take God's Word to heart and learn to do it His way the easier it will be to overcome sin and become a slave to righteousness, which is truly freedom. What was once vague can become black and white because our spiritual nature and fleshly nature become easier to identify. God gives power to our spirit so we can learn to reject sin and embrace His righteousness. We need to wake up and learn to conform to your new identity in Christ. We should all know what it truly means to be in Christ and what it means to be born again with a spirit that's regenerated, freed from sin and without blemish.

Walking in the Spirit by Kenneth Berding Pdf

Walking in the Spirit is a journey into what the Bible teaches about life in the Holy Spirit. Author Kenneth Berding uses the apostle Paul and his words in Romans 8 to model what it looks like to live both empowered and set free by the Spirit. Written at an accessible level, Berding speaks to a wide audience as he seeks to connect readers to the life of the Spirit. His practical guide covers a variety of topics, showing readers how to set their minds on the things of the Spirit, put to death the deeds of the body, be led by the Spirit, know the fatherhood of God, and hope and pray in the Spirit. Berding applies the Bible to life through many of his own personal experiences, helping readers make connections to their own spiritual journeys. Discussion questions for each chapter facilitate personal reflection and small-group study.

The Glory Now Revealed by Andrew M. Davis Pdf

Believers know that when we die we enter heaven and will spend eternity there with God and the saints who have gone before us. But what actually happens in heaven? What are we going to be doing there? Won't it get boring at some point? According to Scripture, a large part of our experience of heaven will be a continual revealing of God's glory. Not just his glory in the moment, but during all of time. The mysteries of providence, the hidden movements of God throughout history, and the forgotten and unnoted works of even the most obscure of God's people will be unveiled so that we can see how wise, loving, gracious, and powerful our God is. And though we will experience perfection in heaven, we will never be omniscient, which means we will always be learning more about God's glory, inspiring us to return joyful praise and thanksgiving. If your vision of heaven has been limited to clouds and harps and angels, it's time to expand that view with the truth found in this biblically based look at the afterlife.

WALKING in the SPIRIT by Bob Benoit Pdf

This is part four of a four-part series. The Apostle Paul writes in Galatians 5:25, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit?" How do we "walk" in the Spirit?" What is the difference between "living" and "walking" in the Spirit? Scripture explains Scripture. So each lesson herein is a paragraph or two of scripture, in context, sorted by theme, where two or more of the words "walk", "flesh", and/or "in the Spirit" (and their various synonyms) appear in the same paragraph; followed by four questions. Each Scripture is in context, but it is best if you also read what surrounds these verses. The following is a condensed summary of some of the Scriptures included in this Bible study on walking in the Spirit. The Helper, the Holy Spirit teaches us all things. He makes intercession for us. He guides us in all Truth. He lives and dwells in us, in our heart. He helps us in our weakness. The peace of God rules in our hearts, the Word of Christ dwells richly in us. We hear His Word and are doers of the Word. We test the spirits to see if they are of God and understand what the will of the Lord is. We delight in the Lord. We abide and remain in the True Vine, in Christ and Him in us and His love in us. We are not alone. We are made alive together with Christ. We know that Jesus abides in us by the Spirit whom He has given us. We are found in Him and are being renewed by Him. To walk in the Spirit is to follow Jesus. We walk in Him. We walk in the truth. We are led by the Spirit. God directs our steps. We walk not by strength or might but by His Spirit, by His grace. We walk in the newness of Life. We walk in the Light as children of light. We walk in the fruit of the Spirit. We walk in wisdom and understanding. We walk in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit. We receive His correction. His commands are not burdensome. We walk by grace and His grace is sufficient. We speak the word of God with boldness and make disciples. Our hope is in Him and we trust Him with all our heart. The following are some other Bible studies similar to "WALK in the SPIRIT" which are all part of the IN HIM series: abide IN HIM... and HIM IN us... and bear fruit... for without HIM nothing is possible... and with HIM all things are possible. The following books were released in 2020: WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A FOLLOWER (DISCIPLE) OF JESUS CHRIST TODAY? - Follow JESUS - Part 1 (1-43) - Follow JESUS - Part 2 (44-83) - All the times JESUS said I AM (84-147) HOW DO WE ABIDE IN HIM AND HIS WORDS IN US? - Abide IN the WORD and the WORD IN YOU (1-59) - DO the WORD (coming soon) - PREACH the WORD (coming soon) WHAT AND WHO IS THE TRUTH? - Know the TRUTH (1-45) - Walk IN the TRUTH (46-86) HOW DO WE LIVE AND WALK IN THE SPIRIT (AND NOT THE FLESH)? - Discern SPIRIT and Flesh (1-24) - Crucify the FLESH (25-58) - Live IN the SPIRIT (59-95) - Walk IN the SPIRIT (96-153) WHY IS IT ESSENTIAL THAT JESUS ABIDE IN US? - JESUS Abiding IN YOU (1-36) - The SPIRIT of GOD IN YOU (37-70) - Abide IN JESUS and IN HIS LOVE (71-129) ABIDING AND WALKING IN THE LIGHT - Abide IN the LIGHT (1-33) - Walk IN the LIGHT (34-64) LIVING AND WALKING IN THE ABIDING LIFE - There is LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS (1-40) - Walk IN the NEWNESS of LIFE (41-86) ARE YOU FREE INDEED? - Freedom IN CHRIST (1-50) TRUST AND HOPE IN HIM - Trust IN the LORD - Part 1 (1-50) - Trust IN the LORD - Part 2 (51-99) - Hope IN the LORD (100-157)

The Peaceful Wife by April Cassidy Pdf

“This book walks each of us through the reality checks we need in order to have the marriage we want!” —Shaunti Feldhahn, social researcher and best-selling author of For Women Only In today’s workplace, women are often rewarded for having type A personalities: driven, demanding, ambitious, and strong. Yet when it comes to their marriages, those same traits can backfire. After all, no one goes into marriage hoping for a promotion. What is a wife to do? April Cassidy knows this struggle firsthand. She thought she was a great Christian wife and begged God to make her passive husband into a more loving, involved, godly leader. Instead, God opened her eyes to changes that she needed to make, such as laying down her desire for control and offering genuine, unconditional respect—not just love—to her husband. Cassidy’s conclusions may be as startling to readers as they were to her, but The Peaceful Wife shares how she and many others have learned to reorient their lives to biblical commands—resulting in healthier, happier marriages. In the end, you’ll find The Peaceful Wife a powerful path to God’s design for women to live in full submission to Christ as Lord.

The SIX BASIC DOCTRINES by Dirk Waren Pdf

Every believer needs to establish a sound spiritual FOUNDATION because it sets the groundwork for their entire walk with the LORD. Just as a good foundation is required for a sound building, so a proper spiritual foundation is vital for a victorious Christian life. Those who fail to lay a proper foundation are doomed to spiritual immaturity because they have nothing by which to judge what is right or wrong, scriptural or unscriptural, wise or foolish. Simply put, a healthy biblical understructure eliminates feeble spirituality.Believers who neglect to form a wise foundation can shipwreck their faith altogether, as Paul put it in 1 Timothy 1:19, and find themselves back in the world-in spiritual darkness and separate from God. That's why this book exists. It'll help believers lay a quality understructure so that their faith isn't shipwrecked at some point down the road. The Bible details the six basic doctrines of Christianity in Hebrews 6:1-2 where they are described as "elementary." This means "the initial (starting) point" in the Greek. In other words, these six doctrines come first and are therefore the chief teachings of Christianity. They're "basic" only in the sense that they're foundational and consequently have priority over other doctrines. They are the SIX CHIEF DOCTRINES of Christianity.
