Learning To Walk With God Like Enoch by Emmanuel S Omere Pdf

God's desire for every child of His is an intimate relationship. Our Creator loves to relate to us every day in all matters as we trudge along the dark alleyways of life, holding our hands firmly in His big hand. The essence of a walk with God is the divine guidance we get from Him from time to time, helping us in the process to align ourselves with His perfect will for us. But walking with God is not just a walk in the park. It comes with some challenges, especially for the end-time generations. Nevertheless, these challenges are not insurmountable. We can overcome them by drawing inspiration from the experiences of great men and women of faith in the Bible who walked with God successfully. This book is a great resource for every child of God who wants to walk with God in the journey of life. I urge every reader to read the book prayerfully, and I believe fervently that the Lord will empower you with the grace and power to have a successful walk with him in Jesus' name. Amen.

A Teacher Called Nicodemus by Kenneth Winter Pdf

Twelve Unlikely Heroes by John F. MacArthur Pdf

What kind of people does God use to accomplish His work? Far from the children’s tales depicted in picture books and nursery rhymes, the men and women highlighted in the Bible were unnervingly real. They faltered. They struggled. And at times, they fell short. Yet God worked through them in surprising and incredible ways to accomplish His purposes. Scripture does not hide their weaknesses, caricature their strengths, or spin their stories as a display of human nobility. Instead, it describes these heroes of the faith with unflinching honesty and delivers an unexpected ending: “God is not ashamed to be called their God” (Hebrews 11:16). In Twelve Unlikely Heroes, pastor and best-selling author John MacArthur uses his deep knowledge of the Bible and history to take us back to see these three-dimensional men and women in their own times and cultures. In doing so, it becomes clear how their dramatic stories apply to us today. People who might at first seem foreign quickly become familiar and unforgettable—particularly as they reveal the true Hero behind every witness, the power counterbalancing every weakness, “the Author and Finisher of our faith” (Hebrews 12:1).

The purpose is to saturate our thinking with Scripture so that it will permeate all aspects of our reasoning and guide us into God’s will. These articles touch on subjects such as soteriology, grace, worship, righteous living, and character studies of people such as Saul and David. The overall intent of the book is to inform and inspire believers to live righteously before God.

Walking with God by Harold Penninger Pdf

Before sin entered this world, Adam and Eve held intimate communion with God. Since sin separated man from God, heaven's plan of salvation was provided to reunite the family of heaven and earth. God's plan provided that man could learn how to walk with Him as Enoch did before he was translated.Christ's invitation to walking with God is given to us, "Enter ye in at the straight gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because straight is the gate and narrow is the way, which leadeth into life, and few there be that find it." So the pathway with God is narrow, straight or strict, and few there be that find it, and fewer remain in this strict and narrow way. This book gives the experiences of some of the people of the Bible who have followed in His footsteps such as Abraham, Enoch, Job, Moses, Elijah, Daniel, Peter, John, and Paul.

The Enoch Factor by Stephen B. McSwain Pdf

Never before has this country-indeed this world-faced such a need for a book that unites people, a book that reassures those disillusioned by faith that they can navigate their way back to God and even experience a profound spiritual awakening. For author and entrepreneur Steve McSwain, such an epiphany transformed his life. In The Enoch Factor, readers discover a kindred spirit in an author who understands how religion can subvert a spiritual life. His story will help them navigate their own spiritual journeys. More than a personal odyssey, The Enoch Factor is also a testimonial to the innate dangers of fundamentalist thinking. It is a persuasive argument for a more enlightened religious dialogue in America, one that affirms the goals of all religions-guiding followers in self-awareness, finding serenity and happiness, and discovering what the author describes as "the sacred art of knowing God." Unapologetic and moving, McSwain's take on The Almighty is sure to ignite spirited debate. Full of wisdom, humor, and truth, The Enoch Factor bridges the gap between secular and Christian book titles on spirituality, setting a new standard in both.

Drawn Away by Jay R. Leach Pdf

At the beginning of His earthly ministry, Jesus recognized that in addition to the kingdom of God, another kingdom was operating here on the earth, the kingdom of Satan. The two would be in conflict with each other. While in heaven, as the angel Lucifer, Satan, tried to usurp Jesus's power and position. God removed him from heaven, but not before he had drawn away a third of the angels. Satan continues his battle today, but now it's for the hearts of God's people. Many Christians are drawn away from their godly spirituality through Satan's deceptions and their own lack of biblical knowledge and the stability of a viable biblical worldview. In Matthew 4:1–11, Jesus demonstrated how we are to interact with both kingdoms and counter Satan's ungodly brand of spirituality. First, He showed us that He lived to please God. Second, He defeated Satan through dependence on the Holy Spirit and the spoken Word of God. Third, He made that same authority and power available to us corporately and individually. We must never attempt anything for God with them (see Acts 1:8). As His church, our evangelism must seek authentic salvation for our converts that consists of two components: conversion and conservation. We encourage our new converts to come to Jesus just as they are, but we are not to allow them to remain that way. They must grow up into mature disciples. The church is to carry His commission and "make disciples" (see Matthew 28:18–20). Jesus emphasizes the church's obedience and completion of two activities before any amount of success can be measured: "baptizing" and "teaching." Here again, we find Satan trying to defeat God's purpose. As mature disciples, we are to victoriously and gloriously live and practice a true godly spirituality in all areas of our lives as examples before the new disciples that counters Satan's ungodly spirituality.
