Living Beyond Your Dream-World by Dr. Miracle I. Anyanwu Pdf

Wasting a dream is like wasting a life, and a life without a dream is a hopeless one. We don't dream to attract attention or recognition; to be applauded by families and well-wishers. We do dream because our lives are dependent on it. 'Real dreamers' never quit, even when it seems like giving up. They are aware of the fact that the dreams they possess are tried and tested. They comprehend that without the hurdles, these dreams fail to survive the test of time. No man prays for his dreams to be opposed; but the fact still remains: It's inevitable. 'Literal dreamers' only imagine and assume. They paint the maginified pictures of their lives but never strive to make them happen. ‘Real dreamers’ never deal with assumptions; they believe and act. One thing is to dream, and another, to act on it to make it a reality. It's biblically written that faith without work is dead. A dream without an effort hits the rock. So therefore, keep your aspirations alive with the right nutrients. As long as you can breath, your 'dreams' can breathe also. «Living Beyond Your Dream World» is a book which will energize your body, soul and spirit to be part of the 'Dream Census'; thus, making the dream alive. DIG DEEPER! DREAM BIGGER!! IT’S YOUR TIME TO SHINE!!!

The Dream-Quest of Vellitt Boe by Kij Johnson Pdf

One of NPR's Best Books of 2016 and a Hugo, Nebula, John W. Campbell, and Locus Award finalist for Best Novella Professor Vellitt Boe teaches at the prestigious Ulthar Women’s College. When one of her most gifted students elopes with a dreamer from the waking world, Vellitt must retrieve her. "Kij Johnson's haunting novella The Dream-Quest of Vellitt Boe is both a commentary on a classic H.P. Lovecraft tale and a profound reflection on a woman's life. Vellitt's quest to find a former student who may be the only person who can save her community takes her through a world governed by a seemingly arbitrary dream logic in which she occasionally glimpses an underlying but mysterious order, a world ruled by capricious gods and populated by the creatures of dreams and nightmares. Those familiar with Lovecraft's work will travel through a fantasy landscape infused with Lovecraftian images viewed from another perspective, but even readers unfamiliar with his work will be enthralled by Vellitt's quest. A remarkable accomplishment that repays rereading." —Pamela Sargent, winner of the Nebula Award At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.

Living beyond the Dream by Jarrod Polson; Wes Coker Pdf

Jarrod Polson’s journey to the University of Kentucky began with a dream in elementary school. Living beyond the Dream offers an inside look into Polson’s life as he describes that dream to play basketball for his beloved Wildcats. This memoir narrates the lows and highs and speaks to the lessons Polson learned throughout college. In a world of talent and fame, he understands the choices one makes are more important than the gifts one has been given. Praise for Living beyond the Dream “Jarrod Polson is Kentucky basketball. [He] turned down scholarships to other Division 1 schools to live out his dream of playing for the Wildcats. He was given little chance of playing ... But not only did he play, he was an integral part of UK’s 2012 National Championship. To me there is something more important. Jarrod Polson lives what he believes.” —Cameron Mills “Following UK’s miraculous run in the 2014 NCAA Tournament, Jarrod Polson and I were given the opportunity to visit thousands of ... school kids throughout Kentucky. Those kids saw that a UK National Champion who got to live his dream can be humble, patient, and kind and still be a champion. You will love getting to know him and Him through Polson’s book Living beyond the Dream.” —Jeff Sheppard “In my time here at Kentucky, I’ve been fortunate to have been around some of the strongest character kids in the country. JP is at the top of that list, his faith in how he lives his life, his dedication to team and winning spirit made it fun and a joy to coach. He will always be one of my favorite wildcats.” —Kenny Payne “Jarrod Polson writes about the honor to wear a Kentucky uniform and the thrill of being a part of BBN.” —Dick Vitale

The Informationist by Taylor Stevens Pdf

Governments pay her. Criminals fear her. Nobody sees her coming. Vanessa “Michael” Munroe deals in information—expensive information—working for corporations, heads of state, private clients, and anyone else who can pay for her unique brand of expertise. Born to missionary parents in lawless central Africa, Munroe took up with an infamous gunrunner and his mercenary crew when she was just fourteen. As his protégé, she earned the respect of the jungle's most dangerous men, cultivating her own reputation for years until something sent her running. After almost a decade building a new life and lucrative career from her home base in Dallas, she's never looked back. Until now. A Texas oil billionaire has hired her to find his daughter who vanished in Africa four years ago. It’s not her usual line of work, but she can’t resist the challenge. Pulled deep into the mystery of the missing girl, Munroe finds herself back in the lands of her childhood, betrayed, cut off from civilization, and left for dead. If she has any hope of escaping the jungle and the demons that drive her, she must come face-to-face with the past that she’s tried for so long to forget. The first book in the Vanessa Michael Munroe series, gripping, ingenious, and impeccably paced, The Informationist marks the arrival or a thrilling new talent. “Stevens’s blazingly brilliant debut introduces a great new action heroine, Vanessa Michael Munroe, who doesn’t have to kick over a hornet’s nest to get attention, though her feral, take-no-prisoners attitude reflects the fire of Stieg Larsson’s Lisbeth Salander….Thriller fans will eagerly await the sequel to this high-octane page-turner.” —Publishers Weekly, starred, boxed review

Americans have built an empire on the idea of “race,” a falsehood that damages us all but falls most heavily on the bodies of black women and men—bodies exploited through slavery and segregation, and, today, threatened, locked up, and murdered out of all proportion. What is it like to inhabit a black body and find a way to live within it? And how can we all honestly reckon with this fraught history and free ourselves from its burden? Between the World and Me is Ta-Nehisi Coates’s attempt to answer these questions in a letter to his adolescent son. Coates shares with his son—and readers—the story of his awakening to the truth about his place in the world through a series of revelatory experiences, from Howard University to Civil War battlefields, from the South Side of Chicago to Paris, from his childhood home to the living rooms of mothers whose children’s lives were taken as American plunder. Beautifully woven from personal narrative, reimagined history, and fresh, emotionally charged reportage, Between the World and Me clearly illuminates the past, bracingly confronts our present, and offers a transcendent vision for a way forward.

Relentless Love by Edwin Carl Smith Pdf

Ed Smith defines enchantment as 'that place where our life and our deepest dreams merge' and he maintains that it is our true nature. In 'Relentless Love', he proposes that we can live lives of enchantment through the practice of relentless love. He inspires us to create a world based on our intention to love and our faith in life and contends that evolution is propelling us to do so. He defines evolution as 'events you do not like that converge to create a possibility you could not anticipate'. This is an original, lucid, voice with something very compelling and vital to say that can change all of our lives.

On the Origins of Speaking by Lord Walsingham Pdf

This is a serious book examining the original sounds and meanings of languages right back to the Stone Age - up until now believed to be impossible. But it can also be seen as tracing the overwhelming sexual orientation of human thinking for the last six hundred thousand years or more - when we were only hominids, squatting round the camp fires at the mouths of our caves - to keep the sabre toothed tigers out. It was here that our original bare bottomed language committees first got to grips with meanings and their audible representation. The committees were convened as a result of the taming of fire, the high tech of the day. It was a cosy environment in a cold and hostile world, and the unaccustomed warmth led to an outburst of amorous inclinations, and the need to express them in words. Ka they thought echoic of the strike of flint on flint, and so striking, and so the tenderising of raw meat for which they had already been making "e;hand axes"e; for at least half a million years. It is from ka-ka for tenderising with a hand axe that our cooking comes! The flame did it for you. Flint knapping left a lot of "e;debetage"e; or waste flakes, whence ka-ka also came to mean waste - including today human waste. Metaphor led to odd bedfellows. All this evidence is decoded from an exhaustive forty year research into over a hundred languages, many of them dead ones, where like flies in amber our original Lithic (Stone Age) language roots are still embedded. There is nothing salacious in the tale. It simply tells it as it is and was, and it is not going to go away. This short version is abstracted from a major work of over 600 pages, and there is nothing in it which the ordinary man in the street (and his sister) can not easily follow. It ranks quite highly in the order of useless information, but it has its indirect usage. If you understand how all our languages have actually come about - the product of human whimsy - you will be that much less likely to believe some of the sillier alternative views put forward by ideologically inclined placemen. Lastly, how has Lithic Language been cracked? The answer lies in "e;semantic triangulation"e;. Believe it or not, all our languages today (over 6000) bear traces of the original meanings given to the sounds as we first learned to articulate them, and it is possible to work backwards using the current meanings in numerous languages to home in on the original source meanings which are common to the current ones. Then we can see if they make sense as a first guess by our Stone Age (hominid) forebears of what they thought of as the "e;natural"e; meanings of the sounds. They didn't do thinking very much. That is how they all guessed the same, or nearly the same. So we are probably on the right track: language was all spun by human whimsy, (over a few hundred millennia), from only a baker's dozen original articulated sounds. The English language alone reached a million words last year.
