Caroline Hartley and the Dreadnought Battleship by D.J. Robinson Pdf

Caroline Hartley has a magic key. It has allowed her and her brother, Martin, to secretly step through an attic door and time-travel back to 1912, at the castle they have been staying at in central Europe. Unfortunately, bad weather in the present has forced them and their father, Chris, to leave the castle and go back to Bratislava. The Hartley children would love to return to the castle as they would like to use Carolines magic key again. Both wish to time-travel back to 1912, where they can meet their friends, who have invited them to see the inspection of the fleet in Trieste, Austria-Hungary. Caroline is currently unsure if this will be possible.

Realtor Mike Bike by Joe Remesz Pdf

REALTOR MIKE BIKE is a work of fiction and, therefore, its characters and the situations in which they find themselves in are entirely my creations. Its setting, on the other hand, is in and around Edmonton, Alberta and places mentioned in the novel are those which I frequented and enjoyed. I hope you will find REALTOR MIKE BIKE enjoyable and while reading it smile, chuckle and even have a good old-fashioned belly laugh. The novel developed from experiences I encountered as a real estate salesman.

The illusion by Mony de Panja Pdf

Two college-goers and two teens plan a trek along a sanctuary. On way to the trek, the leader witnesses goons snatching a money bag from an old man. He challenges the goons and is abducted. He runs away from the captivity. Goons learn about their trekking plan, separate them and chase them individually into the forest. While the actions happen on earth, all are sucked into a new world in which they can fly but feel no hunger, thirst or sleep. This world's inhabitants join the two groups, and it leads to a fight to the finish. In yet another realm, the goings-on appear as videos, and solutions are offered through rhymes and riddles. The teens feel, it is an illusion that has occurred due to mix-up of a video game with magic. A mix-up it is, and the cause is revealed at the end. But that leads to more questions.

Awaken by Tom Garland Pdf

Before the coma that imprisoned David Rush for fifteen years, a golden pathway to the future awaited him. Then, he was seventeen. Now at thirty-two, his dreams of youth dead, David struggles each day to cope in a world that has passed him by. Not only is Davids own reflection that of a stranger, but everyone he knew pre-coma is now grown, with spouses, kids, wrinkles and adult issues. Worst, is the fact that Shelly Tate, Davids high school sweetheart, is married to Jeff Clark, Davids best friend all through high school. Neither resembles the people David once loved. Wildly successful in the world of organized crime, Jeff lords over Shelly. A mere shadow of her former self, Shelly reaches out to David with the illusion of rekindling the fire of lost love. But the only thing rekindled is Jeffs bitter jealousy of David. Jeffs jealousy turns to rage when David starts making inquiries into a fifteen year unsolved murder. David is certain his old girlfriend is married to a cold blooded killer. As the paradox of Davids absence from the living unfolds, and the past and present collide with deadly force. David finds himself having to make decisions that will forever change the course of his life, and possibly destroy the course of those once dear to him. In the mist of chaos David finds a trusted friend in an unorthodox catholic priest whose insight and wisdom give David hope to face an uncertain future, and the courage to love as though life has no end.

Re:Cyclists by Michael Hutchinson Pdf

'As if Bill Bryson had taken to two wheels' - FT Somewhere in a German forest 200 years ago, during the darkest, wettest summer for centuries, the story of cycling began. The calls to ban it were more or less immediate. Re:Cyclists is the tale of the following two centuries. It tells how cycling became a kinky vaudeville act for Parisians, how it was the basis of an American business empire to rival Henry Ford's, and how it found a unique home in the British Isles. The Victorian love of cycling started with penny-farthing riders, who explored lonely roads that had been left abandoned by the coming of the railways. Then high-society took to it - in the 1980s the glittering parties of the London Season featured bicycles dancing in the ballroom, and every member of the House of Lords rode a bike. Twentieth-century cycling was very different, and even more popular. It became the sport and the pastime of millions of ordinary people who wanted to escape the city smog, or to experience the excitement of a weekend's racing. Cycling offered adventure and independence in the good times, and consolation during the war years and the Great Depression. Re:Cyclists tells the story of cycling's glories and also of its despairs, of how it only just avoided extinction in the motoring boom of the 1960s. And finally, at the dawn of the 21st century, it celebrates how cycling rose again - a little different, a lot more fashionable, but still about the same simple pleasures that it always has been: the wind in your face and the thrill of two-wheeled freedom.
