Mr. Darcy and the Island by Valerie Lennox Pdf

One island. One murder. One bed. Miss Elizabeth Bennet refused Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy's proposal months ago, but he’s just announced that they’re married. Admittedly, they are in a strange situation. They’re stuck on a small island off the coast of Brighton and they’ve just been discovered standing over the dead body of Mr. George Wickham. Neither of them killed him, of course. But one of the other six occupants on this island did, and now they are all trapped there for four days until a ferry comes. Elizabeth is glad enough to be granted Mr. Darcy’s protection—she is a woman alone, unchaperoned due to a series of unfortunate events, and being thought his wife does make things easier for her. Until they learn that there is only one room in the inn on the island for them. With one bed. Dear reader, this variation could not be termed precisely clean, but I assure wary readers that the romantic tension is far more prevalent than the, er, action. Though this variation has a body count, I believe it's one of my lighter offerings. I hope it's enjoyable.

Mr. Darcy Goes Overboard by Belinda Roberts Pdf

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a yacht must be in want of a female crew... And if that weren't enough excitement, Mrs Bennet hears that the splendid villa Netherpollock has been rented by a young man of great fortune. She is determined he'll go out with one of her daughters, until Mr Darcy glides in on his stunning yacht Pemberley and she decides he would be the better catch... Jane Austen has never been so hilariously recreated as in this modern seaside retelling of Pride and Prejudice, complete with a Mr Darcy you won't soon forget! What readers say: "A wonderful read-inspiring, intelligent, and quite hilarious." "Hugely entertaining. It made me laugh out loud many times." "I am mad on Austen and loved this book! Mr. Darcy, the Beast by Valerie Lennox Pdf

With gentlemen scarce at the Meryton assembly, Elizabeth Bennet means to scold the man in the shadows who refuses to dance. But when he comes into the light, she sees his horribly scarred face and his limp. Fitzwilliam Darcy survived a tragic carriage accident that claimed the life of his sister, and by all accounts of those who knew him, he is much changed. Now, he is a beast of a man, often in a bad temper, owing the pain he still suffers from the injuries he incurred. Elizabeth pities the man until he kisses her in the middle of the dance floor at the Netherfield Ball with everyone looking on. He’s trapped her in a marriage that is not of her choosing, and now she must travel with him to the isolated estate of Pemberley. Mr. Darcy knows what he’s done is monstrous. But there are monstrous things within him now. He doesn’t know what has possessed him to trespass against this beauty that will now be his wife. He knows he is beyond any hope. And yet… she stirs things within him. He will not let her go. This first book in the Happily Ever Collection unites Beauty and the Beast and Pride and Prejudice. Though each story in the collection takes its cue from a fairy tale, there are neither magic nor otherworldly elements in the stories.

Marooned With Darcy: A Sensual "Pride & Prejudice" Variation by Abbey North Pdf

Marooned with the last man she would ever marry... Lizzy and Jane are on a ship bound for America to stay with Mr. Collins?s younger brother when they meet Mr. Bingley and Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy?s disapproval of the burgeoning affection between Jane and Charles is painfully obvious, and Lizzy does her best to thwart his attempts to stop the developing relationship. She is puzzled by how invigorating it can be to trade barbs with Darcy, and he seems to enjoy it as well, but he is the last man she could ever soften toward due to his haughty manner and prideful ways. When their ship wrecks, Lizzy and Darcy end up stranded alone on an island. As the days pass while they await rescue, the undeniable attraction between them becomes overwhelming, leading them both to act. Even as Lizzy succumbs to the temptation and falls for Darcy, she wonders if he is indeed the last man she would ever marry, or if she has been fooling herself about the strength of her emotions all along? While Abbey sometimes writes sweet JAFF, this is strictly SENSUAL.

Once Mr. Darcy Promises by Valerie Lennox Pdf

When Elizabeth Bennet meets Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy, she learns he is engaged to be married to Miss Caroline Bingley. He seems devoted to his bride-to-be, quite attentive to her comfort and always willing to escort her to bed when she falls asleep early in the evenings, as she is wont to do. They are to be married in something of a rush, it seems, as soon as the banns are read. Which is why it’s monstrous that Mr. Darcy looks at Elizabeth in that way that he looks at her sometimes, or that Elizabeth feels an odd stirring towards him. Positively monstrous. Beneath them both. And there is nothing for it, after all. Once a gentleman gives his promise to a woman, he cannot break an engagement. It’s against all codes of honor to do so otherwise. Mr. Darcy will marry Miss Bingley, and there’s no reason for Elizabeth to think it could ever be otherwise. Dear reader, this story features a good Mr. Wickham and a sympathetic Caroline. Obviously, Caroline doesn’t actually marry Mr. Darcy, but read this if you’d like to see just how badly they’re entangled, how we end up with Caroline happily ever after with Colonel Fitzwilliam, and how we get our dear couple sorted. Take note that there is content that may be objectionable to some readers, including nonconsensual activity, violence, and detailed lovemaking scenes.

As if fate means to scold him, he immediately sets eyes on Miss Elizabeth Bennet. From then on, he is a man destroyed. The scandal demands a solution, and Mr. Darcy provides it. He asks her to marry him. But when he claims to be swept away by her beauty, she knows he is lying. Completely and Utterly Mr. Darcy's by Valerie Lennox Pdf

When Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy barges half-dressed into the room where Miss Elizabeth Bennet is staying at Netherfield, apparently on the run from Miss Caroline Bingley's attempt to engineer a compromise and trap him in a marriage, he claims to have compromised Elizabeth instead. Elizabeth is not pleased at this turn of events, considering that Mr. Darcy is the most arrogant and altogether worst man she has ever met. She's particularly displeased at having her choices taken away and being obliged to become this man's wife. Mr. Darcy's ardent admiration of her is some consolation, however, and there is something to be said for the way he seems to be able to reduce her shivers with a look. They have a connection, something powerful, physical, and undeniable. If only Miss Bingley weren't determined to work her revenge on the newlyweds, and if only Mr. Darcy's past with a certain Mr. Wickham weren't lurking in the shadows, ready to rear its ugly head. Dear reader, this is a quintessential Valerie Lennox JAFF-winking irreverence, a dollop of angst, and enough steam to choke on. It returns to some of my favorite tropes and situations (forced marriage, a scheming Caroline, a darker Mr. Darcy) and gives them a little bit of a different spin. I sincerely hope you enjoy!
