He starts his exploration with a simple question: What do we actually talk about when we talk about African art? Bis vor kurzem wurde noch jeder Verrat des Geheimbundes mit der Todesstrafe geahndet. 2005 wurde das Ifa-Orakel als immaterielles Kulturerbe der UNESCO anerkannt und 2008 in die repräsentative Liste des immateriellen Kulturerbe der Menschheit aufgenommen.
