Origin and All by Ancient Benjamin Pdf

The novel Origin and All tells how the universe began, explores the rebellion of Lucifer and his angelic host, and explains that Christianity is not a religion, but a revealed life. The book contains a seemingly endless streak of high-level supernatural information, presented in a deliberate manner that will preserve the purity and originality of divine truth, with the aim of offering a comprehensive understanding of life and reality in God's universe. The author shows how life, reality, and the totality of universal existence originated from the conscious existence of a living entity known as Elohim, the Origin of all. Further, prominent matters such as the original plan of God, the rise of fallen angels, the three-fold Gospel, the bridal union, and more are extensively covered. To cap it off, belief systems and forms of worship are considered. Christianity is contrasted with religion to offer discernment to readers. Ancient Benjamin was born in and lives in Kumasi, Ghana, a West African country. He wrote this book to bring a finality of understanding to all men on the subject matter of God and Christianity. Ancient Benjamin, named after his Father, the Ancient of days, is a young man, picked and trained by the Holy Spirit in the arena of revelation knowledge, and discernment. He is specially anointed by the Spirit to relate with a rare kind of supernatural messaging, which produces in him the ability to understand pre-creation conditions and realities. The Origin of all Religious Worship by Charles François Dupuis Pdf

This is a re-publication of the work of Charles-François Dupuis (1742 - 1809) who wrote this book in 1795 (French). It was translated into English in 1872. Dupuis argued that Christianity was an amalgamation of various ancient mythologies and that Jesus was a mythical character. He argued also that Jewish and Christian scriptures could be interpreted according to the solar pattern, e.g. the Fall of Man in Genesis being an allegory of the hardship caused by winter, and the resurrection of Jesus an allegory for the growth of the sun's strength in the sign of Aries at the spring equinox. He relates the various poems of Hercules and Bacchus to the position of the sun in the zodiac. Purpose od the republication is to contribute to the spiritual enlightenment of man and to keep its information alive.

Origin Story by David Christian Pdf

This New York Times bestseller "elegantly weaves evidence and insights . . . into a single, accessible historical narrative" (Bill Gates) and presents a captivating history of the universe -- from the Big Bang to dinosaurs to mass globalization and beyond. Most historians study the smallest slivers of time, emphasizing specific dates, individuals, and documents. But what would it look like to study the whole of history, from the big bang through the present day -- and even into the remote future? How would looking at the full span of time change the way we perceive the universe, the earth, and our very existence? These were the questions David Christian set out to answer when he created the field of "Big History," the most exciting new approach to understanding where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. In Origin Story, Christian takes readers on a wild ride through the entire 13.8 billion years we've come to know as "history." By focusing on defining events (thresholds), major trends, and profound questions about our origins, Christian exposes the hidden threads that tie everything together -- from the creation of the planet to the advent of agriculture, nuclear war, and beyond. With stunning insights into the origin of the universe, the beginning of life, the emergence of humans, and what the future might bring, Origin Story boldly reframes our place in the cosmos.

Urantia the Earth-The Origin of It All by Nicholas P. Snoek Pdf

In 1955 the Urantia Book appeared, all in 2,100 pages. It is a heavy read that tells us how we came to be, what we may become, and enough about astronomy to help us understand what makes that possible. It has sold 3/4 million copies in many languages, and would have sold many more if it were simpler to read. The purpose of this book, Urantia the Earth: The Origin of It All, is to help bring that about to make it more negotiable, more user-friendly. This is not a dumbing-down exercise; this book is a reading aid, challenging enough in itself.

Simplicius: On Epictetus Handbook 27-53 by Charles Brittain,Tad Brennan Pdf

The Enchiridion or Handbook of the first-century AD Stoic Epictetus was used as an ethical treatise both in Christian monasteries and by the sixth-century pagan Neoplatonist Simplicius. Simplicius chose it for beginners, rather than Aristotle's Ethics, because it presupposed no knowledge of logic. We thus get a fascinating chance to see how a pagan Neoplatonist transformed Stoic ideas. The text was relevant to Simplicius because he too, like Epictetus, was teaching beginners how to take the first steps towards eradicating emotion, although he is unlike Epictetus in thinking that they should give up public life rather than acquiesce, if public office is denied them. Simplicius starts from a Platonic definition of the person as rational soul, not body, ignoring Epictetus' further whittling down of himself to just his will or policy decisions. He selects certain topics for special attention in chapters 1, 8, 27 and 31. Things are up to us, despite Fate. Our sufferings are not evil, but providential attempts to turn us from the body. Evil is found only in the human soul. But evil is parasitic (Proclus' term) on good. The gods exist, are provident, and cannot be bought off. With nearly all of this the Stoics would agree, but for quite different reasons, and their own distinctions and definitions are to a large extent ignored. This translation of the Handbook is published in two volumes. This is the second volume, covering chapters 27-53; the first covers chapters 1-26.
