For it is written: 'I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate (Isa. 29:14).'" (1 Cor. 1:18-19) When the foolishness of the cross frustrates our intelligence, it will cause the wise to listen and add to their learning; it will cause the discerning to get guidance. Then, you will understand the reasons that cause a Bittersweet Victory.
