Session six offers a time of ministry when people can respond to what they have learnt and receive whatever ministry is right for them, before the concluding sessions which explore how we can grow as Christians in fellowship with others in the Church and begin to minister to people you With a leader s manual, optional videos, and a journal for every member with teaching, Bible readings, and space to record their thoughts, Saints Alive! has been used by hundreds of thousands all over the world and with this new edition it will be used more widely still.

Principles, Approaches and Issues in Participant Observation by Danny L. Jorgensen Pdf

This book provides a succinct, student-friendly outline of the principles, approaches, and issues in participant observation. An examination of these basic tenets is important for clarifying the philosophical rationale for conducting participant observation, making important research decisions, and appreciating the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches within the method. Participant observation as a formal means of inquiry is developed in close relation with the competing approaches of reality (ontology), truthfully apprehending reality (epistemology), and formal research (methodology). In this volume Jorgensen discusses the resulting methodologies of positivism, humanism, and most recently postmodernism in relation to principles, approaches, and issues in participant observation. Specific features of participant observation, as exemplified in a wide range of classic and contemporary studies, are examined by way of these methodological approaches along with the troublesome complexities of values, politics, ethics, and contemporary debates over appropriate representations of the resulting findings about human life. This concise primer is suitable for undergraduate and graduate students in a wide range of disciplines such as anthropology, religious studies, sociology and nursing.

Young Bisexual Women’s Experiences in Secondary Schools by Mary-Anne McAllum Pdf

Emerging from a case study in secondary schools, this book explores young bisexual women’s notions of bisexuality through their own sense of self-identification and how they express their personal beliefs. McAllum sheds light on the presence and practices of "bisexual misrecognition" and "bi-misogyny" in school settings, and draws out the implications of this bias on bisexual women. Incorporating women’s own spoken and written anecdotes, this book reveals hidden narratives and helps boost awareness about the social and learning needs of young bisexual women.

The Participant by Christopher M. Kelty Pdf

Participation is everywhere today. It has been formalized, measured, standardized, scaled up, network-enabled, and sent around the world. Platforms, algorithms, and software offer to make participation easier, but new technologies have had the opposite effect. We find ourselves suspicious of how participation extracts our data or monetizes our emotions, and the more procedural participation becomes, the more it seems to recede from our grasp. In this book, Christopher M. Kelty traces four stories of participation across the twentieth century, showing how they are part of a much longer-term problem in relation to the individual and collective experience of representative democracy. Kelty argues that in the last century or so, the power of participation has dwindled; over time, it has been formatted in ways that cramp and dwarf it, even as the drive to participate has spread to nearly every kind of human endeavor, all around the world. The Participant is a historical ethnography of the concept of participation, investigating how the concept has evolved into the form it takes today. It is a book that asks, "Why do we participate?" And sometimes, "Why do we refuse?"

Participant Trustworthiness Analysis In The Game-Based Urban Planning Processes By PROMETHEE-mGQNN Approach by Romualdas Baušys,Ingrida Leščauskienė, Rokas Semėnas Pdf

Serious games together with the gamified and the game-based surveys (GBS), offer an engaging way to increase citizens’ participation in urban planning projects. However, there is always the risk of untrustworthy participants, which can decrease the overall reliability of the game-based research. Trustworthiness analysis is a highly challenging task since the neuropsychology of the GBS respondents and the infinite amount of their possible in-game actions causes many uncertainties in the data analysis. The novel MCDM approach PROMETHEE-mGqNN (PROMETHEE under m-generalised q-neutrosophic numbers) is proposed in this paper as the solution to the described problem. Five criteria that might be automatically calculated from the in-game data are proposed to construct the decision matrix to identify the untrustworthy respondents. The game-based survey “Parkis” developed to assess the safety and attractiveness of the urban public park “Missionary Garden” (Vilnius, Lithuania) is proposed as the case study of this research
