Passenger's Side - Putting Jesus Christ in Charge of Your Life by John Michael Forosisky Pdf

Passenger's Side is a non-fiction account, that describes how an ordinary person's life, becomes extraordinary. You'll learn of how one man's life has dramatically changed, because of something he has found... something that was once hidden. The author, John, has discovered a new and amazing relationship. The type of relationship that he has discovered, is one that he never would have imagined... one that he didn't realize could exist. Can miraculous things really happen in a person's life, everyday? In addition to learning of John's personal testimonies and the amazing accounts that he will share with you, Passenger's Side was written to help you. It is a Christian self-help book, that can change your life in a way that is more wonderful than you could imagine. It can and will help you in the "here and now." The author states: "Over and above helping people like you, it is my intention that this book would bring glory to the God. It is God that deserves credit for all good things. We can do nothing worthwhile outside of Him. We have life, only because of Him. It is only the Lord God, who is worthy of praise. I believe this book will give you a better understanding of the Lord, and your own life. You will soon discover that with Jesus Christ as your partner, you can live the kind of life that seems like a wonderful dream. And the best part is; what I am referring to, is available to you now. Even today. So join me on this journey. Open your mind, and your heart, and you will soon discover what I have... that traveling through life in the passenger's side, is the only way to travel!"

Manuals Combined: WARRIOR TRAINING CENTER Air Assault School Handbook, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) The Sabalauski Air Assault School Handbook & 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Gold Book by Anonim Pdf

Air Assault is a combat insertion unit using helicopters to transport and insert soldiers into battle, provide medical evacuation, provide close air support, provide resupply operations. It is usually a company or bat-talion sized element. The term Air Assault derives from two types of operations known as Air Mobility and Vertical Envelopment. Air Mobility Operations were de-veloped by the German Army during WWII in the 1930‘s. The US Army soon adopted this method of offensive operations in 1941 using wooden gliders. The glider was assisted into the air by being towed by a larger aircraft and then released. The pilot had to navigate the large glider loaded with a team of infantry soldiers to the landing zone behind enemy lines, at night and attempt to land safely. Once the pilot landed the glider, he would join the mission as another infantry soldier with the team that he flew in. Although the gliders and techniques used were advanced for that time period they did pose some disadvantages. Once the aircraft was landed safely that team of soldiers were cut off from allied troops. Pilots had to be cross trained with infantry tactics so he could operate as both roles. The air mobility glider was abandoned after WWII after the invention of the helicopter. PREFACE 1 November 2011 1. The Sabalauski Air Assault School (TSAAS) is a FORSCOM TDA unit that trains leaders and Soldiers assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), as well as other Army units and armed services in several courses. By conducting the Air Assault and Pathfinder Courses The Sabalauski Air Assault School develops technically proficient and confident Soldiers capable of safely executing immediate and sustained air assault operations. The school also trains and qualifies military Rappel Masters, Fast Rope Masters and SPIES Masters in the application of infiltration and extraction techniques. The school provides quality basic airborne refresher and jumpmaster refresher training to airborne capable units. Finally, the school provides command and control of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Screaming Eagle Parachute Team. 2. This handbook is designed to facilitate the mission of the school, serving as a baseline of information for the Air Assault Course. It is not a substitute for applicable Army regulations, field manuals, training circulars, or technical manuals, but it is designed to complement the guidance in these publications in the area of air assault operations. The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) disclaims any responsibility for incidents occurring while applying these procedures. 3. The proponent for this handbook is the Commander of The Sabalauski Air Assault School. This 2011 update provides users with the latest doctrinal information regarding Air Assault Operations. Users of this publication are encouraged to recommend improvements or changes in writing to ACofS, G3/5/7/DPTM; ATTN: AFZB-K-GT-AA, Fort Campbell, KY 42223-5000. The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) has a long and rich heritage. As the world’s only functional Air Assault Division, the 101st Airborne has pioneered the development of Air Assault tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs). These tactics were quantifiably demonstrated in 1991 during Operation Desert Storm and most recently during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. We are currently at war with dangerous and adaptive terrorist forces in complex environments. In response, the Division continually refines its TTPs, exploiting our unique capabilities to defeat our nation’s enemies. This reference publication, The Gold Book June 2014, re-establishes the baseline for the planning and execution of Air Assault operations.

Fasten Your Seatbelt: The Passenger is Flying the Plane by Nawal K. Taneja Pdf

Fasten Your Seatbelt: The Passenger is Flying the Plane is the fourth in a series written at the encouragement of practitioners in the global airline industry. Core customers are beginning to seize control of the direction of the industry from airline management. Customers are doing so due to deep dissatisfaction with what is being offered by traditional carriers across all areas, including network, product, price, customer service and the distribution system. New airlines have clearly focused business designs with the discipline to reject non-valued products or services. In the US, new airlines score higher in customer satisfaction, offering lower fares and making larger operating profits. This book is about customer behaviour and how to address it. It provides detailed but easy-to-read practical discussion of the changes required on the part of airline management not only to think boldly, but also to execute courageously and relentlessly, ground-breaking strategies to fly ahead of their customers. As with previous books written by Nawal Taneja, the primary audience continues to be senior level practitioners within the global airline industry - in both traditional carrier and low complexity carrier segments. The approach is impartial, candid and pragmatic, based on what is happening in the actual market place rather than theoretical business models.

Supply and Demand Management in Ride-Sourcing Markets by Jintao Ke,Hai Yang,Hai Wang,Yafeng Yin Pdf

Supply and Demand Management in Ride-Sourcing Markets offers a fundamental modeling framework for characterizing ride-sourcing markets by spelling out the complex relationships among key endogenous and exogenous variables in the markets. This book establishes several economic models that can approximate matching frictions between drivers and passengers, describes the equilibrium state of ride-sourcing markets, and more. Based on these models, the book develops an optimum strategy (in terms of trip fare, wage and/or matching) that maximizes platform profit. While the best social optimum solution (for maximizing the social welfare) is generally unsustainable, this book provides options governments can use to encourage second-best solutions. In addition, the book's authors establish models to analyze ride-pooling services, with traffic congestion externalities incorporated into models to see how both new platforms and government designs can optimize operating strategies in response to the level of traffic congestion. Serves as a foundation for subsequent research studies that investigate ride-sourcing services through mathematical modeling Offers valuable managerial insights for ride-sourcing platforms and helps them develop more efficient and effective operating strategies Assists the governments or social planners in designing appropriate regulatory schemes to achieve more sustainable and societally beneficial market outcomes
