While they may not be as energetic as their larger counterparts, they are by no means a sedentary dog. They may be inclined to do as they are told, but only when it suits them. Corgis love their people unconditionally, however that does not stop them from trying to have things their own way. They can be easily persuaded that you are alpha, but that does not mean that they will necessarily accept your rules. When left to their own devices, Corgis can figure out ways to do things that they know you will not approve of, and ten try to hide the evidence. It makes them both an incredibly mischievous and loveable dog that you will need to keep an eye on if you are to keep your Corgi out of trouble. There are tow types of Welsh Corgis: The Pembroke and the Cardigan. the Pembroke is the more popular and common of the two.
