The Real Wealth of Nations by Riane Eisler,Riane Tennenhaus Eisler Pdf
Bestselling author Riane Eisler (The Chalice and the Blade, which has sold more than 500,000 copies sold) shows that at the root of all of society's big problems is the fact that we don't value what matters. She then presents a radical reformulation of economics priorities focused on the home.
A lot of us are caught up in the race of acquiring and multiplying wealth. Often, this comes at the cost of harmony in relationships, health and emotional well-being. We fail to strike the right balance in life and believe that life is meant to be such. Then, there are others who believe that it's impossible to be materially successful and yet have peace and joy-believing that prosperity and peace cannot coexist. Hence, they either resort to the life of a recluse or lose themselves in material indulgence. Busting these myths related to money, Discover Your Real Wealth guides you to your true wealth of consciousness. It explains how your thoughts and emotions affect your consciousness and provides various techniques to retain and raise it. If you safeguard this wealth everything else will fall into place. The book explains the art of functioning in a relaxed state, enabling you to assuredly watch how all your wishes come to fruition, instead of struggling and hankering after them. A calming read during cacophonous times, the teachings of Sirshree will help you enjoy all the riches of the world and lead the path to the ultimate state of peace, success, harmony and abundance.
Eisler exposes the economic double standard that devalues anything stereotypically associated with women and femininity, and shows how this distorts not only a society's values but individual's lives as well.
The Art and Science of Real Wealth by Bollachettira Dhyan Appachu Pdf
I have been investing ever since I was a young teen during the mania of the early 1990s. I have had huge successes and even bigger failures. I made enough money before I was 30, that ordinary people would not have made in a lifetime. But my short-term emotional thinking, arrogance, and greed in investing, and ignoring and mocking the principles of capital allocation and risk management blew away all those earnings. The world’s greatest investors were successful only because of logic, reason, patience, and discipline. I thought I should share my life's learning to help prevents others from making the mistakes I made until 2018 and go on to the success I am having since 2019. I have returned more than 50% on my investments from late 2018 to date when markets the world over have negative returns. The Irreconcilable Inconsistencies of Neoclassical Macroeconomics by John Weeks Pdf
In the course of this book it is argued that the loss of what is essentially "macro" in Keynes is the result of a preference for a form of equilibrium analysis that gives unqualified support to the ideology of free markets. In the case of Marx, his theory of exploitation and from this the stress on class struggle, led to an almost complete neglect of his contribution to the analysis of the aggregate demand and supply of commodities.

The cover motif is a piece of old German money. It is a Reichsbanknote issued on August 22, 1923 for one hundred million marks. Nine years earlier, that many marks would have been about 5 percent of all the German marks in the world, worth 23 million American dollars. On the day it was issued, it was worth about twenty dollars. Three months later, it was worth only a few thousandths of an American cent. The process by which this occurs is known as inflation. A few years before, in 1920 and 1921, Germany had enjoyed a remarkable prosperity envied by the rest of the world. Prices were steady, business was humming, everyone was working, the stock market was skyrocketing. The Germans were swimming in easy money. Within the year, they were drowning in it. Until it was all over, no one seemed to notice any connection between the earlier false boom and the later inflationary bust. In this book, Jens O. Parsson performs the neat trick of transforming the dry economic subject of inflation into a white-knuckles kind of blood-chiller. He begins with a freewheeling account of the spectacular inflation that all but destroyed Germany in 1923, taking it apart to find out both what made it tick and what made it finally end. He goes on to look at the American inflation that was steadily gaining force after 1962. In terms clear and fascinating enough for any layman, but with technical validity enough for any economist, he applies the lessons gleaned from the German inflation to find that too much about the American inflation was the same, lacking only the inexorable further deterioration that time would bring. The book concludes by charting out all the possible future prognoses for the American inflation, none easy but some much less catastrophic than others. Mr. Parsson brings much new light to bear on this subject. He lays on the line in tough, spare language exactly how and why the American inflation was caused, exactly who was responsible for causing it, exactly who unjustly benefited and who suffered from the inflation, exactly why the government could not permit the inflation to stop or even to cease growing worse, exactly who was going to pay the ultimate price, and exactly what would have to be done to avert the ultimate conclusion. This book packs a wallop. It is not for the timid, and it spares no tender sensibilities. The conclusions it reaches are shocking and are bound to provoke endless dispute. If they proved to approximate even remotely the correct analysis of the American inflation, hardly any American citizen could escape being the prey of inflation and no one could afford not to know where the inflation was taking him. In the economic daily lives of everyone, nothing will be the same after this book as it was before.
